Anyone who plays (or practices) a musical instrument knows the importance of a spiral binding. We just don't have a free hand to hold the pages open, and using those clips they sell is an inconvenient option. I love the smooth plastic spiral on this book. It is sturdy and will not scratch anything. I also love the unique format of the pages. Open the book and you have both music notation AND tablature on your right, and guitar chord charts on your left. This is perfect for my guitar lessons and practice. One other bonus with this book is the fact that it is slightly oversized. Easier to see for this old man, and it gives you enough room to tape or staple an 81/2 x 11 sheet of music to an existing page. I love keeping all my studies in one place! I will buy some extras, so I am never without this book!

This is a fantastic little tab book. The space is perfect for notes and tabs. The chord boxes on the reverse pages make it easy to give your musical notation a standard spacing as well.

if you're a guitarrist lookin' for a book to write your music with both standard musical notation and tab, and you are just tired of all those books out there that uncomfortable to write on 'cause of the limited space between lines, this is the one. like the other guy said, easy on the eyes, plenty of room between for notes of lyrics. 100% recommended.

This notebook has 64 9” x 12” pages, non-perforated. The spiral binding is not plastic-coated and could scratch a piano’s music stand. The staves are wide enough for easy writing. The facing page has sixteen blank, oversized chord diagrams.

Bought these as a gift and the person I bought them for loves them.

Kinda hard to mess up, but it is as described.
