This grinding stone is humongous and would be great for a bigger bird. My green cheeked conure is terrified of it and won't go in her cage if it's in there, however. Would purchase the smaller version for a smaller bird if I were to do it again.

I put these into my ringneck and brown throat conure cages. The little brown throat won't touch it. The ringneck took a while to come around but now she loves using it. She sometimes stands on top of it going to town on it. At night she sometimes rests her head on it. I just put a new one into her cage and she has already did a number on it but I think it'll still last over a month at this rate.

Smells terrible. I don’t want to give it to my birds. How do I know it’s safe? Not happy.

This is not the color shown in the picture which ok it's a color not a big deal but when you think your buying something that looks like the picture and it is not. On top of that it came broken 😔 just annoying when it's a waste of money and time we just got a new parakeet and we're trying to make their home nice.

I purchased this item for my scarlet macaw. I was concerned the bolt and washer would be too small for his cage, but it managed to fit just right. It’s sturdy; he rubs and cleans his beak on it. He likes to perch on it as well, but he’s a little too big for it since it’s kind of short for a large bird. He loves it though, and I plan on purchasing more when this one wears down. My only wish for it would be that it come in a longer size for bigger birds to perch on comfortably.

Good product, just what I was looking for to replace a similar one in my bird’s cage. Definitely seems to help with beak growth as my bird wipes her beak every time she drinks or eats!

Seems like a decent calcium perch for a parrot. If the bird actively uses it, the yellow color comes off and you are left with a white perch. Fairly thick.

My Moluccan got hormonal from shredding wood so she needed an alternative. This is perfect and doesn’t make her hormonal.

I thought they would be useful for my bird to grind her beak and wear her claws down but she just uses them to stand on

This is a chew stick for a parrot. He likes it and is busily sharpening his beak for my next bite.
