First 3 ingredients: glycerine, water, sugar
Got it because it's alcohol free to mix with breast milk. Smells good, haven't actually tried it for cooking or anything else

Came with no lid
Bottle came with no lid! Who ships a bottle of liquid with no lid?? Fortunately it stayed sealed - or else it would’ve ruined everything else that was shipped in the box. I managed to take the lid off an infant Tylenol bottle and it fit. I also took the insert out of an infant Zantac bottle to make it easier to get just drops instead of it pouring out.I bought this to put in my son’s bottles of breastmilk. He started refusing them and I found out I have high lipase so I needed something to add to the breastmilk I had already frozen that hadn’t been scalded. I didn’t like the idea of adding vanilla with alcohol to his bottles so I got this instead. He seems to be taking them much easier now.Gave 3 stars just because of it not having a lid.

Great for some, but not so much for others
It's a matter of personal taste, I imagine. For people who are accustomed to the taste of glycerin it's perfect! But for those with a different pallet I would not recommend. Also, I have suspicions it is not free of corn and gluten. I might be wrong, but I didn't feel well after eating the baked goods I used it in. Oh, that's another thing; it's better in baked goods (any differences are masked by all the other yumminess), but not so good in smoothies, raw desserts, or in a homemade London Fog. Great in baked stuff, though.

Very subtle flavor
I understand not having alcohol is going to make the flavor more subtle, but it barely had any flavor.I bought of my daughter to put in her formula (she's on a special formula, and gastroenterologist told us to use a few drops to make her milk taste more tolerable). It has just the slightest vanilla flavor; so to change the taste of her formula I would have had to add way more than a few drops, so I didnt ven bother. I also used this to bake with and it only added sweetness, not vanilla flavor. It's a good alternative to alcohol based extracts, but only if you are using it larger amounts. In the future I will buy vanilla beans and use the pulp instead.

Leaking and sealed only from outside, nothing under the cap !!!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I have buy the product before directly from the store, but as Mom with 3 kids and while covid is around I decided to order it online !First it took long time, which was okay but I received a leaking sealed from the outside of the bottle with transparent plastic only not sealed under the cap!!! I am not sure what’s wrong was it open before and resealed or what?

Great for Recipes That Don't Require Cooking...
I'm using Trader Joe's when making recipes that don't require cooking. Some people of sensitive to alcohol and I don't want to trigger anything. I used it in ice cream, which has turned out wonderful.

Horrid diluted imitation
First of all, waited nearly 2 weeks to get this. Searched PURE VANILLA. Then opened, smelled, read the ingredients and got more and more angry over the deceit. Used Amazon search was for "PURE" vanilla and this came up?!. This stuff is garbage. Read the ingredients and the order they are in; paying for glycerine, water and sugar cane with vanilla been "extractives." Who knows what chemicals were used to extract. I so wish there was a ZERO stars because this is it.

Five Stars
This is the best non-alcoholic vanilla extract that I've ever had. Great to cook with candies anything.
