This was a replacement buy after over ten years use of my first Platypus hydration pack. I have found it to be robust and reliable for skiing and hiking. I have not used the insulated sleeve in freezing conditions, rather relying on draining the water back into the reservoir to keep water flowing.

I bought it as an Xmas present for my mum. Great size and quality!

I have used Platypus for many years but this latest purchase was very disappointing. It leaks no matter how carefully I tighten the screw.

The screw cap thread is below the standard of a previously owned platypus.

Easy to use. Rinsed under the tap when bought new. No strange taste. Cleans easily after use. Stew fitting lid can be a little fiddly and if not seated correctly will leak as you would expect. With a little care this issue is easily over come. Great price too. I rate highly than my Osprey

The first time I used this it leaked all over my backpack, not what I expected from Platypus

I needed to replace my old platypus bladder after too many years to count. Was glad to have this new version which is lighter and narrower, so it easily fits in my day pack. My only complaint is the clip to attach the drinking tube to my backpack is difficult to use. I will use my old clip.

Awesome bladder. Never leaked. We bought these for the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu and had no issues. There was no rubbery taste on the water and the bite valve was very efficient.We did get some slight leakage from the valve when we laid the bags down a certain way. User error though. Long days and exhaustion, just threw the bags in the tent. Just keep the bag properly propped up when not in use and the bladder is full.

Ya lo conocía desde hace años y me ha acompañado siempre a la montaña.

Si tratta di una sacca con un tappo , per cui non è troppo agevole da asciugare, ma soprattuto quando si vuole ridurre il peso semplifica la vita. Purtroppo non sono più di facile reperimento i ricambi della bite valve che talvolta si perde.
