Item has 2 separate wiring for power. The 1 in the booklet is wrong
This item came with 2 different wiring diagram. 1 on the back of item and a booklet on how to install. I used booklet diagram to wire up power and it blew the fuse right away. I happen to check diagram on back of item and all wires were in different slots which seemed correct to the prior item I changed out. Please correct that mistake before someone else my damage theirs because of that error. Other than that it's a good equalizer for the price.

for the muny i guess u get what u pay for it is a nice unti... nicely blue lights that match my pioneer head unit.. it makes a hissing noise (not alternator noise) when the gain is turned up about halfway.or more. but it does give added clarity to the system... another complaint and one that i experience more often than not.. is at night you cant tell where the gain levels are even though the EQ lights up the knobs itself doesnt and you dont know where the knobs are set at..

not as powerful as it cliams
dont get me wrong i LOVE SOUNDSTREAM thats all my speakers & amps i have is by Soundstream so i really thought the mpq 7xo 7 band eq would be great but when i got it & hook everything up to my surprise it didnt do anything or maybe something wrong with it well i did send it back but never got my money for the RETURN SO YES IM UPSET & WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE AGAIN. learned my lessen you cant buy everything from them so i would not tell people to by from this company ever. AMAZON IS AWESOME but they should make sure people get there money back. now for the mpq7xo eq i couldnt really tell you anything because the one i had didnt work :( so i hate it for these people that i have to say one star & dislike the company i bought it from & i didnt buy it from amazon. this company used amazon to put there product in there system.

Not good. But no one else is either.
I have had two. They both burned out and had a static noise. All of the in dash eqs seem like they are kinda cheap.
