Vacuums up sand!
Bought this for my Lay z spa Maldives which this vacuum isn’t really designed for- it pre dates my spa model and is designed for the spas without seats, just flat floors. Straight away I knew I’d have use it without the brush head as it’s far to bulky to fit into the crevices around the seats of my spa. Fortunately, with the brush head removed, it just about fits into the gaps, not all of them but enough to give the spa floor a decent clean. To make it great for use with the Maldives spa, bestway need to update it with a crevice tool attachment -like you have on carpet vacuums and it would be ideal. Like I said though, the vacuum predates the spa, so It can’t really be called an issue. It charges very quickly. It has an impressive suction and you can move quickly around the floor without missing any dirt. The mesh that traps the dirt is very very fine which means it picks up those tiny bits of sand and it keeps them trapped. Hoorah. Well, it does when used without the brush head- it might not be as good with the brush attached, I couldn’t say.The bad points- the handle it comes with is flimsy. I believe there is a separate telescopic handle you can buy, which is probably why the basic one is a bit rubbish- to encourage you to buy the better one! However, the basic one does work just about. It come in 2 pieces, which only push together, once assembled, you screw / twist the complete handle into the vacuum unit, feels wobbly and flimsy.... After using, you do need to completely take the whole unit apart- especially the handle as the pieces fill up with water which doesn’t drain out unless you take it apart! I doubt the handle will last very long before it starts to rust due to this design. The actual vacuum part is very good. Simple to open, just squeeze and gently pull the clips and it come apart. A quick rinse under the tap and all the debris is gone. I like to dry everything off in the sun before packing it away. I also found that water gets into the charging socket during use, so I make sure I open the port as well, allowing it to completely dry off prior to charging next time.A storage bag would really improve this item. It comes in a few pieces and you can’t just chuck them back into the box after you’ve used it, as it’s just a cardboard tube, so you have all these bits laying around until they dry off and then you can pack them away. Mildly annoying, not the end of the world though. Overall, a great vacuum. Worth the money.

An absolute must if you have a lay-z-spa
This vacuum is absolutely brilliant. It’s small, lightweight and really easy to use. Plus it actually WORKS! We had some cheap and cheerful vaccum before which attached to the hose before but this is in another league and doesn’t cool the pool down because the no need to use the hose. It’s particularly good if you have young kids that insist on going in and out of the hot tub, bringing in loads of dirt. By the time you want to use it, you can simply pop this vacuum in and it’s back to clear and perfect for you to hop in!

Fabulous gadget
Great suction and easy to use. Rechargeable so no running out of batteries!Would be improved if had a long attachment to go with the flat one. My spa has seating attached and I have to take the end off to reach in the small areas. Otherwise perfect!

It works!
I previously had an vacuum you attach to the pump for my above ground pool. It was an absolute pain to use because the air kept getting into the tubing and it would just keep floating to the top. This item arrived very quickly and is really easy to use. I attached the USB cable to my laptop and charged it up (this was quick to do). My pool had accumulated a lot of grit due to the bad weather through July. This vacuum has eaten up most of it, although it took me a while because there was a lot. The filter comes off easily so it can be rinsed through.I was worried about spending so much money on an item I wasn't sure would work, but it was definitely worth it. It does well in my 9 by 6ft pool, so it will be brilliant for a hot tub.

Better than I expected
Was sick of struggling with the non powered pool vacuum that you attach a hosepipe to, didn't do anything, so I got this and it's a complete game changer... Absolutely brilliant and so easy to set up and use. Would highly recommend for any pool.

Just what we needed
This hoover is just what we needed for our swim spa. It is long enough to reach the bottom and the charge lasts for at least 4 uses. It picks up any debris and is easy to use.

Check item in shop before buying
Bought mine from a Local tub supplier. Was pleased to be able to clean my tub, at last, at the bottom. Tried it out after charging, which went quite quickly. Was very disappointed as it looked as though the water jets were churning up all the dirt on the bottom, giving me no time to collect it all. Left it awhile to let it settle, tried again with same result. cleaned out the filter, which had very little in it anyway. Could not work out why it was throwing up the dirt and not picking up much. So turned to the internet for help, as the suppliers are unhelpful, due to the current state of affairs. Just get told "have to help yourself". It turns out that a filter end cap has been left off, so the dirt is being sucked up and spat straight out again, into the tub. Again suppliers are not helping. So a little DIY later and it works 100% as expected. Lovely little tool for the pool. 3 star as it is good, should be 5 but had to drop 2, because the suppliers are not willing to help, which would mean that it is useless, otherwise.First pic shows what should be on end of filter, second shows DIY addition, to make it work

Grear product.
After we used it, the filter was really filthy and the pool spotless! Easy to use and the battery long enough to clean our 3x2.5 metres metal frame pool and it still has plenty of battery for future uses. We’re very happy with it so far.
