Great compact hiking backpack
The compact size and simple design of this bag makes it great for short hikes or walks. I have worn it on hikes 1-8 miles and have had no issues with the zippers or quality. The straps are breathable and comfortable. I can fit a few small snacks, my keys and phone in it along with a water bladder.

Totally loving my new ultra pack
Disclaimer: I'm not an ultra runner, but I have been running longer distances in prep for my first run so bought this as a first-time hydration vest user. I have an old Camelback that I've used for about 20 years and have actually stitched it in places the straps were coming apart because I loved that pack so much. In training for first 120 mile multi stage race I knew the old pack just wouldn't feel/fit well. I borrowed 3-4 vests from friends to try out and tried on about a dozen at REI and other stores in my search. I finally gambled on this guy because I didn't see any ultra runners wearing a Camelback brand. Well, I'm sure glad I did. I love it. It's just the right size for me, I'm happy with 99% of the features. The one thing that could be little better is the front chest zipper pocket for iphone. I use Otterbox and makes it too big to fit in that pocket...but that's ok because I really don't want my phone that close to my heart anyway. I added a fannypack style belt for my phone and I'm all good. The pack itself feels like a solid Camelback construction quality (or even better!) so I know it's going to hold up for the long haul. It's quite adjustable. I bought poles for this trek and I've never used before. I ended up putting poles in the zippered area sticking out the top because my poles were too long and I didn't trust the bungee style straps. I'm sure they work, but I just felt more comfortable with poles inside the pockets. I love the outer most pocket that allows me to throw layers into it as I peel them off on the run. The front pockets are plenty for me with small snacks, chapstick and such. The bladder is also classic Camelback quality - solid. I'm a believer and feel like I got a great deal because the other ultra packs I was checking out were in the $120-$200 range that I just didn't want to spend that on a first-timer pack when I wasn't sure I would use it after this race. This pack feels like something I can use for more purposes than long distance running so I feel very satisfied with my choice. Love the price I paid for the quality and experience I'm having. Nice job Camelback.

Love this hydration pack
I walked through Spain and was very happy with this pack. I have another hydration pack but it is a little bigger and more cumbersome. I did not need a 3 liter bladder where I was going. This was light, easy to walk 10 miles a day and the pockets were so useful for my phone and sunscreen. The back pocket was large enough to fit my rain poncho and I didn't feel like it was bulging in my back. Straps easy to adjust.

Great daypack for hiking
Very comfortable and you barely notice it's even there. The one downside is it only fits a 6" phone in the zipper pocket. Would be nice if they made it 1 inch taller to accommodate larger phones. But I just put it in the mesh pocket and it stayed there just fine. (Samsung Galaxy A32 5G, 6.7" with case)Instead of using the bladder, I use 4 soft flasks so I can have different drink flavors. My 500ml ones with straws fit great in the mesh front pockets. It easily held my lunch as well as my dogs lunch, leash, snacks, first aid kit, rain coat, etc. and still had room left over. I highly recommend this if you day hike 10-12 miles. It will fit everything you need out there on the trail.

Pockets on pockets
Size wise, I am about five feet in height and a 36H and find “women shaped” things to be obnoxiously ill-fitting, but the straps are incredibly forgiving on this one. The pack is also not too big on my frame, so it certainly shouldn’t swallow or ride up on taller people. Additionally, I keep finding pockets - which is great! I was able to fill up all 70oz, fit my lunch and a first aid kit, as well as my thin long sleeve shirt into this bag while comfortably hiking ten miles. The bag is flexible and moves with you. Not big enough for overnight trips or if you pack a picnic basket worth of food on excursions, but totally worth it for a light lunch and keeping your smaller items with you.

Love it!
As a dog walker, I like to have water and storage on my at all times, but comfortably and not overly bulky. I did switch the bladder that came with this to a Camelbak 3L. Barely fits but it fits!!!! Very comfortable, breathable, the pockets are amazing. So far it’s held up to a little over 2 months daily hikes and adventures. Very happy with this hydration backpack

Perfect choice
I hike in multiple parks and frequently. This pack is a perfect daypack. The 2 liter water bladder holds plenty of water for a day hike. The many pockets hold things like cell phone, package of tissues, keys, small first aide kit, extra clothing etc. it has a whistle designed into the top clasp (it has to front clasps). I haven’t figured out how to carry the poles yet, but they are supposed to be able to attach.
