Lightning strikes twice..replacement as good as original buy.
Bought this to replace one just like it that I loved but *sigh* got dropped on concrete sidewalk..hard. Broke the case. So glad to find an exact replacement at an extremely reasonable price. It arrived, I put one of my favorite Keith Urban discs on..great sound, love the bass boost, great stability. Glad my jogging days are over...won't have to worry about hard landings. Great buy. Very happy with this purchase.

you'll get by
this cd player is pretty good. it does however have some minor problems such as the fact that some times the buttons get mixed up. what i mean by that is that some times when you hit the button for the next track it'll stop the cd. or sometimes you'll hit the previous track and it'll go to the next one. the paint or whatever also rubs off really easily. also there's no skip protection so it's no good for jogging or walking or even moving in any shape or form. but if you have to go on a long trip or something like that it'll get you by. battery time isn't too bad either.

Good but not great
The cd player is inexpensive and it does its job for normal listening. Since it's cheap, there is not any cd skip protection so joggers look elsewhere. Also, the buttons aren't that sensitive so you have to press them firmly. Other than that, you get your money's worth.

Get something else
I have had this CD player for two years. In the first year, I was very happy with it. It had good bass, nothing could make it skip, and everything worked wonderfully. However, in the second year, things started to happen. First, the anti-skip disappeared. Then, the buttons reversed. Finally, two weeks ago, I dropped it from a height of FOUR INCHES. Now, the tone is often completely off if it is held in certain positions, and there is annoying background noise somtimes. This seems to be a good CD player at first - but it has no durability or lifespan. Get something else.

Totally Bustable
This CD player is "Totally Bustable". It skips a lot, its colors are gruesome,it has only 8 buttons,(only 5 worked on mine), and I dropped it from litterally 1'2" on carpet, and it broke!! Toys R Us wouldnt even give me a new one! It was the 4th day after I bought it, and my brother acctedenally hit it with a basketball when I was sitting on my front ledge of the driveway from 1'2" high! This product isn't very good at all.

its acceptible
thsi cd player is great, except for one little thing. If you hate noisy cd players, then dont get this one. After about a month I got it the buttons started confusing one another(if I hit forward it goes back, etc.). The best thing about it is the headphones it comes with, you would think by the looks of them theyre the typical generic headphones, but they have really really good bass for their size. RCA could have done better, not only with this product but with all of them, all products of theirs I have(tv, stereo, cd player, etc.) arent turning out to be the best, I had to throw away the stereo I got that was an RCA, it just didnt work-I even took it to get checked out and they said just throw it away. alot of other problems are happening with the tv's and stuff also.

Skips Way Too Much
When I first bought this discman, it worked great. All it ever does is skip now. Total waste of money.

A GOOD ONE...
As far as portable CD players go, this (so far) is one of the better ones I've had -- and, I've had a few. I'd gotten use to the fact these items weren't made to last, but I think this one has change my thinking a little. I've had it for about a year, use it everyday. It's been bumped and dropped (hard too, while on a treadmill); has been in extreme cold and hot conditions - and it's still performs well. The Advanced Anti-Skip Protection is the best. But, the the thing I like most about this CD player is that it doesn't "suck-up" batteries like most others do. I've had the batteries in for 2, sometimes 3 weeks at a time...and even with very little juice (as the battery indicator will show)it still gives me a little bit more power...I love it!!! The headset is the only thing didn't endure but, it was a nice size and weight while it lasted. I am more than satisfied with my RCA CD player and very highly recommend it.
