Perfect For Electronic CB work.
Works great! I got struck by lightning (just kidding). Tested this with a high impedance VOM and it definitely conducts static charge to ground when connected. Pad won't slip or slide on the workbench either.

Cheap mat but effecient enough for on going project.
Need a mat for a project that is coming for a major food chain that I will be working on and it will be effiecent enough for what I need to do. Will report back oncce I test it out on first deployment I go on for this project.

Protect Against Static
I used this when building a new PC to prevent static discharge from zapping my new CPU or DDR4 while I plugged them into the board.You probably think you got away with it, but an undetectable static discharge that doesn't kill your SSD outright can shorten its life or even take out a few bits. You won't know because the firmware manages bad blocks. Usually.This is an flimsy but adequate solution for a careful hobbyist. I don't recommend it for industrial use.

Obviously was previously returned as garbage; still garbage
This is one where the negative reviews are correct. Had hoped that if it was folded it could be flattened between two large, heavy books, but the mat came folded into quarters with a big crease in the middle that would never smooth out. Additionally, the packaging for the flimsy wrist ground was crushed and open, suggesting this defective item was returned by a previous customer. Probably no good as a grounding mat anyway. Clearly cheaply made and poorly packaged. steer clear.

mailed folded makes it hard to layout flat
received as described and on time, but no instructions. had to go online to several sites to find one that showed the proper grounding installation for specific grounding product. Shipping rolled would be an improvement in laying out for use. folds in product from shipping make it awkward to keep flat on table/workbench. but, good size for average use.
