6lb Test Omniflex Monofilament Fishing Line 700 Yards

Arrived on time and it’s fishing line. What can I say? It’s 6lb test and I caught a 10lb channel cat on it first time out so it works. Just remember to set the drag.

I didn't buy my Zebco line on Amazon, got it at Walmart, but was so impressed with it I decided to review it on all the websites. I had never used this before but I threw some on a new spinning rod I just bought (mostly cause I didn't have anything else available at the time and was planning on using 6# fluorocarbon). The line was 4# mono and I put about 150 yds on my spool (since the spools come in 700 yd increments I still have plenty left).The line cast very nicely off new reel and the lure went a lot farther than I was expecting. The first thing I noticed was there was almost no "curls" in the line. It all came off very straight which to me indicated low memory. After a few casts the thing I noticed (and what impressed me enough to review the line) was that I got hung up on an underwater obstruction. I was yanking and pulling at my lure but couldn't get it free. I for sure thought I would break the line off. When it didn't break I decided to try to handline the lure back, again expecting to break the line or maybe pull it free. I had to pull with a lot of strength (definitely more than the rated 4 lbs) and eventually the knot is what broke, not even the line. I would say, for the money, I was very impressed at the strength and low memory of the Zebco Omniflex line and I plan on leaving it on my light spinning set-up.

I used this product on my Daiwa Exceller LT fishing reel for lake fishing. My husband had the same set up. Cast my line and the spool tangled. Line curled. Same with my husbands pole.

I actuall8u bought this product at Walmart.They sell 700 yds. of 4 lb. test under $2.It is cheap indeed.If you cast it and if there is any slack, it will start giving 3~6 extra loop, and start tangling immediately.It can be an aggravation, and if you are not an experienced angler, use better quality line.Even at 4 lb., it does not feel like a fishing line, but rather feels like memory loaded coil spring.I am respooling all 3 rods of mine with better quality line.

Horrible line. Couldn’t even string our spinner reel before it started twisting up and going crazy. Cheap piece of doo doo

Absolutely, Positively the best 6lb test mono line on the planet by a country mile!! Excellent for 10lb fish and under!
