Q: Hi can this be carried like a backpack?

It only has 1 strap so it would be carried more like a sling bag.

Q: My tripod is exactly 24 inches when it's collapsed. Will it fit in this bag?

It would be tight and probably hard to get out. I just measured mine from the inside from end to end and it measures 24" exactly (outside measures 24-1/2

Q: I have a 21-inch collapsed Amazon basics monopod with a suitable case.but strap on the case is not very long. how long is this strap fully extended?

I just received this SLIK tripod bag.Longest strap length is 37.75".Shortest strap length is 22.25".Strap width is 1.5".Strap thickness is 0.0625" (1/16th").The strap is made of black woven nylon and is not removable.

Q: will the slik u9000 fit in this case?

I just received this exact bag (waiting on my SLIK U-212D to arrive), and filled it out with compressed foam peanuts. The interior seems to measure exactly 24.5" by 4.25" by 5".I'm hoping the bag will take the 27" collapsed length* of U-212D I ordered, by pushing each end out of 'dead flat' relaxed position by 1.25". If it does fit, then it will be pushing it to the max.* I originally though the 'shortest' length (24.8") meant 'collapsed' length (27") for the U-212D. I'm hoping they are going to be slightly off in my favor.
