I have had this chair for about a month now. It is simple to put together; took me about ten minutes. It is comfortable and fully adjustable which is great. i spend several hours a day in this chair and my back is much better of than it was in my old chair. The seat height of my chair ranges from 23.5 to 27.5 inches. I thoroughly enjoy this chair however it does have some flaws. As I read in other reviews, the footrest is too high and there is no way to adjust it. At full height it works well, but any lower and it is extremely difficult to get my feet on the rest. It makes a lot of noise. When I sit in it I can hear something creaking all the time and an occasional POP. I don't know for sure but i think it is the plastic covering for the metal back brace base. It isn't exactly straight. It has a slight bend so that the chair spins on its own to find the low point. This only happens when i am not in it. I DO NOT have to fight the chair to stay straight; but when i get out of it the thing tends to spin to its own position.

This chair has very nice and smooth leather surface that makes it look high quality. It's pretty sturdy and extends up to 29.5" from the ground, making it perfect for standing desks. I am 5'3" and this chair lets me sit when I'm tired of my standing desk, while still being tall enough so that I'm in an ergonomic position (elbows and knees at 90 degrees). I especially like the adjustable back support, which helps me to sit up straight.

I only have had the chair for a few days and thus far it's perfect for my application. It's now my man cave/garage chair. Here's the skinny on this chair...-Rating at 4 stars only because of the inadequate height/length of the gas lift cylinder.-My work bench is 41" high and chair not tall enough. Close but not quite.-I then purchased the "Replacement Drafting Stool Gas Lift Cylinder Pneumatic Shock - Medium Stool Height - S6115" ($32.99 Amazon) making the max height now 35" (floor to bottom of seat) minimum height 27" and it is the perfect addition to this chair.-*** I highly suggest ordering the taller gas cylinder with purchase of this chair if your application gears more towards the taller end of spectrum. Removing the original isn't the easiest task. Being a mechanic I had the tools to tackle it pretty easily (hammer & large punch).-The longer/taller gas cylinder also puts the foot ring at the perfect distance from seat. Foot ring originally was way too close to seat. (I'm 5ft 10in tall).-Assembly is extremely easy! #3 phillips screw driver.-A cool feature not mentioned is the adjustments are not ratcheting, meaning you set adjustments EXACTLY where you want them.-The length of the of the seat is relativity short but I believe it's meant to be by design to allow for forward leaning and easy maneuvering.- Very comfortable and sturdy construction with plenty of adjustments. Overall a great chair for the $$$!

Very impressed. For the price, a good bargain. Have only used for a few days, so time will tell, but the item appears to be very well constructed (always a pleasant surprise for Chinese items) and went together easily. I hate when words such as "leatherette" and "leatherplus" are used, since it mistles some into thinking it is leather, but of course this is not, and in my case I am glad, because this is used out in the garage. A better quality vinyl, thicker and not shiny, with a leather imprint. The tops of the arms rattle when you move them, which is typical for adjustable arms on even expensive office chairs and for me is not an issue. Wish it went up another four inches or so, but I knew what I was getting based on the description and answered questions, and did not care to spend another $100-200 on one that went higher, so I simply lay an armaflex or garden kneeling pad on the seat to sit higher and am very happy. Lovelovelove all the adjustment levers, which you will not find on comparably-priced items. Being very tall, I like to be able to tilt back the seat to better support my thighs, and also lock the back at my angle of choice. As usual with heavy/bulky items, the box arrived looking as if it had been through a tornado, but amazingly everything was included and generally pristine. Very impressed for the price, to have the many adjustments, beefy back pad, and good quality.

okay I figured if I could not get a tall desk I could just LOWER this chair - NO WAY - I had to buy bed risers to put underneath the casters of my table/desk so I would be at the proper height to use this chair. That said, it has lots of adjustments and is built really well. It is comfortable for long sit times.There is one caveat.The ring for resting your feet is WAY TOO SHORT. You would need to be a contortionist to be able to CURL your feet back far enough to rest comfortably on the foot rest! I use a box, under the desk and in front of the chair instead.

I spent 3-6hrs a day at home in my work shop in this chair over the last 2.5 yrs. The welds on the bottom of the seat cushion mount broke/cracked and it's wobbling around horribly now. looking for a replacement, preferably with cloth seat and mesh back.Leather version didn't allow enough 'airflow' (obviously) and while the seat cushion hasn't worn out, it could use some more padding (none of the screws come through the seat though). Definitely liked all the "adjustments" even though the seat back wouldn't stay locked in the highest position and kept sliding down each day.

I liked the feel of the chair and the height was good, but the seat back is crooked, such that my body has to twist to conform to the backrest. I had a replacement shipped to me, it had the same problem. The factory assembled portion of the seat is actually screwed in at at a 80 degree angle rather than 90 degrees, so no adjustments are possible. I give up on this model and this brand.
