My wife likes this for our Aussy/Doodle, it fits well, reflective stitching is bright and the collar clasp does have a locking feature. Like the idea behind Max and Neo, like the nylon construction, the separate metal tag loop and the strong lead attachment for the collar, although we use a harness when walking or training or riding in the SUV. The only reason we purchased this is I removed the previous collar for a short time and the pooch pulled it off the table and chewed the buckle to pieces before we could cross the room. I really wanted an all metal buckle and even tried one, but is was heavy and my wife couldn't unfasten it. So we decided to try again and be more careful if and when we remove it again.UPDATE 2/2020 After almost 2 years I had to replace the collar, it is still in great shape, no problem with stitching or reflective trim. The locking feature of the collar has just worn out. I take the collar off every night and every time we come out from inclement weather. The plastic buckle is still in one piece and much stronger than I anticipated, however, being plastic and not designed to be removed 700 times I'm sure, it was bound to wear, the buckle still works and is robust, but the locking tab hardly has any resistance to moving to and from the locked position, still I rate it 5 stars for how it has held up. My dog is very active and thinks he has to skid and roll to retrieve anything, which is his mission in life. He loves the snow as well. This is one tough collar and gladly will buy another in a couple of years.

I love Max and Neo collars, harnesses, and leashes. I buy them for all three of my dogs. I have a great dane, golden retriever, and a belgian malinois. I first decided to buy them because whatever you buy, they donate the same to a local shelter.Their products are beautiful, vivid colors, fit true to their size chart, and are easy to put on and adjust. The collars have a lock on the click together buckle. They are definitely high quality. All of my dogs still have theirs from when they reached their adult size. The D rings and reflective stitching are extremely durable. My dane is still a rambunctious puppy and almost 100 lbs. She broke the D ring on the coat I bought her the 2nd time she wore it (different brand). The Max and Neo has held up with no issues. I never have to worry about my dogs getting loose.

I brought this because my puppy needed a decent collar that’s not too thick and not too thin. And one that will match nicely with her harness. This one was perfect for her. I love the quality, material and it does not bother her like others have. Definitely worth buying it.

This is just a light, nice collar. I have a 9 month old pup that has an electric collar and sometimes a prong collar. Previously, I used a rubber martingale collar but the pinch mechanism is worthless compared to the prong. I replaced it with this nice, lighter collar so I had a reliable place for his ID & name rabies tags. Perfect for my needs

I have a German Short-hair Pointer. She is 65 pounds. Medium does not come close. Solid collar though. I got the leash too. Just make sure you save yourself the hassle of returning

My family is very active in German Shepherd rescue. We value Max & Neo because they donate 1 for 1. But we normally buy collars for our rescue foster dogs when they are on sale at the local big box pet store. I'm so glad we tried this one, because it's better made than 90% of the collars you'll find retail and the price is very low for the quality you get. The nylon is tough yet pliable and looks like the colors will last. I really like the tag metal loop being on the slack buckle instead of the D-ring. Putting my own dogs tags on that loop causes their weight to rotate the collar down on that side so the D-ring is near the back of the dogs neck for easy leash attachment. And you can't beat the safety latch on the breakaway buckle. Having had a few buckles open at very inopportune times with big, drivey GSD's, I can say that this is a great safety feature for me and my dogs. Very clever innovations on a simple product. But I will buy them moving forward for ALL our dogs and foster dogs just because they are so well made, and such a value for the money. And as anyone in rescue knows, donations help everyone. Highly recommended!

Love these collars. This is the second time we’ve purchased them. I like the adjustability of them, they are reflective, and they have a little connection point opposite the leash loop for their tags. So smart!
