Premium Replacement Battery for Dell Latitude XT2 Tablet PC

Works as advertised and glad I could get replacement battery for my 10 year old laptop, which is still serving as my workhorse.

As a Tech Coordinator for a public school I buy batteries for about 400 laptops, which all go home daily with student. The makes and brands are Dell XT/XT2, Latitude D630, HP 2730/2760s, Fujitsu T731 and Gateway M285s.I bought these batteries about 2 months go so can not speak to how long they will last, but right no they appear to be the best replacement (Non-OEM brand) battery that we have purchased. The price was fair, shipping was fast and they appear to be an excellant value.A year from now I'll post how well they have lasted and their charge capacity is holding up and how the warranty is.

OK, one that I ordered would not hold a charge

Works as advertised. The battery holds a charge for about 2 hours.

The battery light flashed red and blue, and a message that the battery doesn't work came up on the screen.

Working in IT, I usually steer clear of aftermarket lithium ion batteries due to various reasons such as: incorrect physical dimensions, overheating issues, sub par electronics, etc. After reading reviews, I figured the risk was low, and purchased it. It arrived on time, well packaged and physical dimensions seem good as it fit my dell XT2 perfectly. I plugged the laptop in for the first charge, every 30 minutes or so, I toggled the charge status light on the battery, eventually I had 4 blue dots. I noticed the battery was very hot, I continued to let it charge figuring I might be paranoid. About 30 minutes later I came back to it and toggled the button again, now it read 1 dot and was flashing. I powered on the laptop and it reported 0% charge and now the blue light on the bottom just flashes 1 blue dot when pressed. So, I took a chance and decided to trust LB1 and apparently ended up with a dud. I'm going to contact the company and see if they will ship a new otherwise will be returning to Amazon and never ordering from LB1 again. If you chance it, hopefully you will get a better one than I.
