Booklet of edible loose gold leaf. These leaves sit between two pieces of paper that cover the front and the back of the leaf. These come in booklets. Our booklets contain 25 leaves (3-3/8"x3-3/8" / 85mmx85mm). The thickness is greater than 0.2 microns. Edible gold is used on and in gourmet foods, notably pastries and cocktails as a decorative ingredient. It is non-toxic and non-irritating when ingested. Also, edible gold has no expiration date.

Edible Gold Leaf for Cakes/Candies
This is pricey but hard-to-find these days. It used to be possible to buy inexpensive edible gold and silver leaf (vark) in Indian groceries, but there seem to be problems nowadays with importing it. So I was very happy to find this on Amazon. Great for making a big impression by gilding a whole cake! It's not hard and you don't need too many leaves. Just carefully slide them off the paper leaves onto the cake, then smooth using a brush (a cosmetic type brush works well). It won't be perfectly smooth, but good enough, and it'll wow whomever you're serving the cake to! They're not likely to have seen something like this before. Obviously this would be great for a golden wedding anniversary cake!!!

Beautiful! A little tricky to transfer
Beautiful! Just wish there was another layer of transfer paper between sheets. The gold leaf is on both sides of the transfer paper so it makes it a little tricky to isolate and transfer but if you find a technique that works for you, it’s not so bad. Amazing quality otherwise!

Misrepresented. The description says that squares of 3-3/8" packets.Yes the paper is, but the goal leaf inside was only 1 cm by 1.5 cm it is super small. Do not mislead your customers.

Absolutely Excellent!
My nine-year-old son had the idea of making a special surprise dessert for Thanksgiving that featured edible gold. I was a little wary of buying gold to eat let alone on the internet but this was great. We made 12 desserts in total, and our guests were very impressed with both the look and the taste of the dessert.The gold itself is flavorless and very thin and sticky leaves but there was more than enough to decorate each individual dessert cup. You can see for yourself in the pictures I attached. Very pleased with this product and I will use it again for future desserts.

I was very skeptical when buying this product because it was from a company I hadnt heard of and also because it was a good chunck of change. after a few days of deliberating I finally said, "what the heck," and made the purchase. I was VERY pleased with the outcome. they shipped it super fast and it came triple packaged. I will be ordering from them again. Oh, and the affect the gold has on my desserts leaves people in amazament, just what i was shooting for.

Good Product.
The wedding cake came out great!! However, there was a learning curve with using these sheets - don't exhale while using them, they'll fly away! Quality was good! The finished look was good! Will purchase again if needed!
