CND Shellac Nail Polish, Desert Poppy, 0.11 lb.

I truly love Shellac, it's such a high quality product. If you're new to the process, you need both the base and the top coat and a UV light to make this work. CND will tell you that only their light works but that simply isn't true. This color certainly is coral but within the coral range, it's on the orange side. It's a flat polish with very small glitter flakes within the polish, so if you're looking for something shimmery I think this is more subtle. I think it would pair nice with other neutrals as well. I took pictures in the sun and in plain light to help people get a better idea of the color. If you're thinking about this for a wedding or other special event where matching color matters, I'd suggest trying to see it in person.

I received this polish in the mail, yesterday. I liked it so much that I polished my nails right after I opened it! This is the perfect color to get rid of the winter blahs, and to start thinking about spring! I love CND Shellac Power Polishes. They stay on your nail for two weeks and they stay shiny the whole time. My nails are dry and they peel and they aren't very strong, unless I have CND Shellac POLISH on them. When the shellac is on my nails, they are strong and they don't peel or crack. In the past, I used to have to wear nail tips to have nice looking nails. Since shellac came out, I have my own nails and they are long and strong and beautiful. If you haven't tried CND Shellac yet, you definitely should.

I was looking for a soft orange or coral color to balance my growing CND gel polish collection, which is a bit red/pink heavy. I thought this color would be perfect. Well... I'm going to keep looking as Desert Poppy is more a warm and bright pink than a mild orange. I am dark skinned African American and this color still works for me but the advertised photo is somewhat misleading. I would still recommend this product but not if you are looking for a noticeably orange color. However, I will add that there is a delicate sparkle when I look at this color in sunlight and I've had coworkers identify this color on me as coral, so to each her own!

Received this product on time and was very pleased with the color. The color is amazing - it's juicy and summer, but not very bright. Really love it!The quality of the product is great - it stays minimum two weeks on my nails. I am attaching a picture - one week old manicure, but still looks great! Thanks!

So, I ordered around 10 nail polishes so far from here. They are 50-50 either a miss or a great gel manicure. The great ones lasted up to 3 weeks, beautiful shine and good colors. The bad ones they either started chipping the next day, the next week, peeled off. The last one i ordered the brush was hard. It was one piece kinda didn’t have bristles to it so it was hard to put color evenly.

It didn't go on as a solid color, but transparent. It was sticky like it was old and didn't dry. It was wet for so long I finally removed it by wiping it with a tissue. Came right off.

This might just be my favorite CND shellac color! It is a great color that has a little bit of shimmer in it. It can require a 3rd coat to make it completely opaque, but 2 coats usually do the trick. I have purchased this color 2+ times, it's so pretty. I think it flatters all skin colors. It's not too bright, but it's not too neutral either, it's very versatile.

As I love CND I wasn't particularly impressed with this color. Very thin and not good pigment. Needs three coats which now makes it thicker on nails.

Pretty

Georgeous colour, great finish, long lasting. It has a very slight glitter to it, which you cannot see from the picture. There is a lot of fake shellac out there, but I'm pretty sure this is the real thing.

It's such a lovely colour! It's more orange than in the picture, but not bad at all.It looks absolutely beautiful on the nails, easy to apply and also very easy to remove. No damage to the nails whatsoever. (I use it with the cnd base/top)

Absolutely beautiful color. Genuine shellac, you can tell by the barcode on the bottom of the bottle. Really smooth and worked fantastically with my LED UV lamp.Would definitely recommend.
