I am new to cycling shows and clipless pedals. I wanted to find something that provided me with more flexibility. These pedals have the traditional flat size for standard shoes, but also offers a clipless option. I read many reviews, with some stating to just go full clipless. Reviews also referenced a feeling that it can get annoying to make sure you're on the correct pedal side. After using this pedals for a few weeks, I can agree with the last sentiment. While wearing standard shows, at times I find myself on the wrong side of the pedal and I have to take the extra time to flip it back over. However, today I purchased clipless mountain bike shoes and tried these for the first time. I felt like this was a game changer. When these were first installed, I was told do dial the adjustment back to 0, and then rotate 3 clicks forward. I was told this would provide the most flexibility for clipping in and out for a beginner. I found that advise extremely helpful and I love these pedals. I had no issues clipping in and out. I didn't fall and I felt very secure while riding. While I wouldn't choose these if I planned to primarily use the flats, it provides a great option for primarily using them with cycling shoes. I would highly recommend them to a bigger or someone that wants extra flexibility.

These petals are extremely handy, you can wear regular shoes or your clipless and they even weigh less than my double sided clipless pedals I had before that were also Shimano.

I love these pedals! They work great with my Vans slip-ons for riding around the town, and when I flip them over, they're perfect to clip my road shoes into for more serious riding. Saves me the trouble of switching out pedals for different situations (town riding / competitive riding), which is awesome.The clips are also really nice on the clipless side - easy release and well adjustable! I will never buy anything else.

4.5 for easy release. Great quality, my only issue is that they release a bit too easy. On the other hand when riding steep single track that is actually a good thing. Overall I’m happy with my first clip less pedals.

Ex pro racer and I wanted pedal for my bike packing gravel bike. these pedals work great when I want to use my gravel shoe or just head to the market in my trail running shoes. Best of both worlds

Feels and performs as a well made product. Easily installed. Like the option of using as a standard petal or cleat lock.

These are a nice replacement for the generic dual sided pedals that came on our spin bike. The OEM pedals started making noise and getting wobbly and these are an upgrade in every way. Shimano products are typically very good and these are no exception.
