Love them.

We used to love the mexicana cola, maine root but recently it has changed in taste. My husband and I now taste chlorine in the soda. He wont drink it anymore and I will also probably stop.It might be what the bottles are washed in and a residue is left. This is not good. It really affects the entire soda tastevery chlorinated. Please try to correct this issue. You had a really nice product but now I am very disappointed.Dr. Hana

This stuff has a good flavor, but I prefer a more aggressive fiz, this is almost flat. I won't buy it again, but some people might prefer it, and the taste is more complex than a lot of what's out there.

The search for the BEST cola ends with this. It sells for about $7 (for a pack of 4 - 12 oz bottles) at Whole Foods Market stores. The texture is smooth. Does not have any unpleasant aftertaste or weird foretaste. The taste is incredibly satisfying with the right caffeine kick. I love just about all of their fruity sodas too and also the root beer. Makes a great accompaniment for all kinds of savory lunch including pizza, pasta or Indian platter or Mexican platter. Very addictive and it is still on the expensive side. So we buy it only once a while. Wish they omit the phosphoric acid and find another acidic substitute like ascorbic acid etc. Otherwise, the ingredient list is clean and natural. Highly overpriced online - about twice as much.

My local grocery store started carrying this recently and as something of an alternative / microbrew soda fan I had to try it even though it's currently unavailable here on Amazon. The first sip had me, the flavor is both satisfying sweat enough and refreshing. I'm not a big of fan of the other maine root sodas, having tried their root beer and blueberry, but Mexicane Cola is exactly what I want in a cola and my current favorite. One note this is a sweet cola, the smooth taste of real sugar is strong in this drink for good reason, a 12 fl oz bottle is 165 calories vs 150 is the real sugar Pepsi or Mexican Coke.

Couldn't find a good cola with caffeine until I tried Maine Root. It has a refreshing cola taste and I sometimes like a little squeeze of fresh lemon. I do have a problem with the price this vendor charges though. If you go directly to Maine Root you can buy two 12 packs for about $30 less and it includes free shipping.
