Aquabeads Box of Fun Safari

My kids love these. I love that they require no heat. These have provided hours of entertainment for my kids, and there are still tons of breads left. Great creative outlet for kids 5+. My only complaint is that the lid is pretty difficult even for me to open. Also, you should know that while the beads come in individual bags for each color, you have to put them in the organizing tray yourself the first time you use them. This is a bit tedious, but worth it.

I think this is for 3+. I got it for my 4 year old and she lost interest immediately and she loves arts and crafts. I actually lost interest too. It's so hard to see what color bead you need and they are so tiny. We didn't even do 1 animal. I put it up in my closet and will give it to her again when she's a few years older.

My son is obsessed with Aquabeads! I was so glad to find this large box of all new patterns. He had a blast and has made every last animal in the box. He puts them in the little plastic stands and "walks" them around, playing with them. I highly recommend this set, it comes quickly and is exactly as shown.

Didn’t come with the piece that helps you place the beads so that pretty much makes the skill level and age on this elevate a lot

My daughter is 10 years old and she received this yesterday and she has been playing all day long. Lots of beads, great design templates. She is really making all the animals and loves it !!!!Great product! and the box is very useful to keep everything very organized.

My daughter (Age 8) got this for Christmas. It was on her list and lived up to her expectations. She has had aquabeads before and liked them. This set is so much better. Everything can be stored in the box which is good. Lots of beads so will last a while. Other good thing is the little stands for the animals so they can be displayed. Would definitely recommend for a child that enjoys art and crafts and making things.

NO BEAD PEN IS INCLUDED. Listed as included, see first bullet point in image, but it is not. I purchased an extra pen so siblings could join in as then I would have 2 pens. No pen in box. Set can still be used but for young children the pen is helpful. Good set apart from this and having no pen seems like a pretty ridiculous money saving (maybe?) tactic for a tiny bit of plastic.

Meine Tochter besitzt mittlerweile mehrere Aquabeadssets und es gibt große Unterschiede!!Dieses Set bietet viele Vorteile:+ viele Perle in verschiedenen Farben. Nachfüllsets alleine sind im Vergleich teuer+ eine große Box zum verstauen+ mehrere Fächer um die Perlen zu trennen+ viele Motive zum bauen+ den Sprüher, der deutlich besser funktioniert als der Tropfer!!! (beim Tropfer ist das Wasser schwer zu dosieren und alles verklebt und trocknet nicht gleichmäßig)Aber auch Nachteile:- die Box lässt sich schwer öffnen, auch für Erwachsene- ein Teil der Motive ist nur in einem Heft und lässt sich durch eine andere Größe nicht unter die Bastelmatte legen- das Flipsystem funktioniert nicht. Das fängt schon damit an, dass man durch die Matte die Motive nicht gut sieht. Auch das Wenden nach dem Besprühen ist sehr schwer. Meine Tochter verwendet nur Bastelmatten von anderen Sets. Geht viel einfacher!!!- die Fächer für die Perlen sind so eng, dass man die Perlen mit den Fingern schwer herausbekommt. (Zange ist bei diesem Set leider nicht dabei)Trotz alledem finde ich, dass man für den Preis, beim dem Set sehr viel bekommt.

Das Set an sich ist schon toll, schöne große Schatulle um alles zu verstauen, viele Perlen, nette Bildmotive und sogar eine Schablone sind dabei, wo man die Bilder nur farblich auszulegen braucht.Für die, welche Aquabeads noch nicht kennen: Man legt die Perlen auf einer mitgelieferten Plastikunterlage, entweder nach Fantasie, oder nach Bildern, die man unter die Unterlage schieben kann.Danach das Ganze mit Wasser besprühen, trocknen lassen (zirka eine Stunde) und man hat ein Perlenbild.Dieses Set bietet jedoch noch eine neue Funktion, das sogenannte "Flipboard".Hier kann direkt nach dem Besprühen eine weitere Plastikunterlage auf die Perlen legen, beide Unterlagen kippen und die Perlen sollen auf der zweiten Unterlage liegen bleiben, wo das Bild dann trocknet und man auf der Originalunterlage gleich wieder ein neues Bild gestalten kann.Theoretisch.Praktisch bleiben Teile des Bildes/der Perlen auf der ersten Unterlage kleben, so dass nicht das Ganze Bild geklappt wird, sondern nur einen Teil der Perlen.Da die Perlen schon besprüht sind, ist jetzt alles wunderbar klebrig und man schafft es nicht mehr, das Bild nochmal zusammen zu setzen.Nachdem wir 3 Versuche in den Müll geschmissen haben, werden wir die Bilder jetzt wieder wie auch zuvor auf der Originalunterlage trocknen lassen und warten, bis sie hart sind.

Great set with loads of beads in so many colours. This was a second set and much better than the starter set. The kids love it and all the pictures to give them ideas. One colour was missing from the box but amazon quickly resolved.
