Kit 3 electrodes for the treatment and prevention of migraines

We found the device to be unsatisfactory as even at the highest setting it does not seem to help the really bad migraines, we have also found that it doesn't always start up even after re-cleaning the forehead and fitting new batteries and electrodes.We may have a faulty unit because sometimes it starts up ok. I am using the Cefaly now for one and a half month. Still on the first electrode, making sure to clean my forhead before I put it on. I have a feeling it is helping, but can't be sure. Whenever I use it while having the migraine, I cam feel its effect at the area of the pain.

If you have decided to go ahead and buy a Cefaly® Anti-migraine Device then you should also read my review of the consumable part of the package - the Cefaly Electrode Pads. Usually bought in packs of 3 separate pads, although they are available singly too.The Bad News - They cost a whopping £7 per pad, that's way high for such a simple product which probably costs under £1 to produce.The Good News - and there is some. If you follow the advice given in the instruction manual and always, always use lotion free skin wipes before applying the Electrode Pad. Keep the pad clean by returning it to its supplied packaging. Re-apply it with clean hands. In this way I believe what one reviewer claims - each Electrode Pad will last up to 3 months. 90 days from a single pad? Not so bad then. Much better than buying a shed load of pain killer pills that's for damned sure.So far so good in this regard - we have used the supplied pad quite a few times now and it continues to adhere just as well as the very first time. This adds up to maybe a dozen applications so far... I believe 90 days use is probably achievable.
