When you first look at the cover, it appears to be cheap, flimsy plastic. Once you have inserted the phone and used it for a few days, you realize it is actually well made and works well. Only time will tell how it lasts. If I am unfortunate enough to drop the phone, I will also find out how good the protection is!Perhaps a more non-slip finish would have been better, but it nevertheless feels secure when held. Certainly more so than the ultra smooth and shiny phone itself. It does seem strange that smartphones are made to look desirable with a high gloss, attractive finish, but to enable us to use them without being dropped, we have to hide that expensive finish with a more practical cover!

In my opinion you pay for what you get! I’ve tried all sorts of cases with my S10 (and previous S range a Samsung phones) and by far the best quality and best functionality come from official Samsung products. This fits like a glove, a beautiful colour to compliment the phone, absolutely protects the phone from any damage, screen goes off when you close the case and comes on when you open it. As it’s a clear view, I can tap front of cover and I get to see the date, time, battery % and any other notifications that might be on phone. For me it’s the best by far and I’m sorry I’ve tried all the other cheap stuff before hand.....I wasted my money and could have bought this genuine phone cover twice over.

I had already got a cheap hard case, but it was only a clip-on back (no front cover), so this was a no-brainer. I haven't had it long which is the only reason for the 4 star durability rating, but I've just taken it to Egypt and back and it is still happy with life and looking good. The colour is a really good match with my phone (I chose the S10 Green) and there is NO sign of a weakening of the hinge mentioned by other reviewers. Would I recommend it - Yes!!

Well, I love this case to be honest. I love the sleep & wake function. I don't agree with some of the negatives this got. Once fitted the phone is in sleep mode & as soon as you open it, it lights up, ready to go. You can easily see the time and notifications through the caee front. The front cover Folds back flat against the phone. Good protection for a slim line folio style case. Looks very smart & sleek as well. Only negative. Bit ot a fingerprint magnet, a quick wipe and it's fine.

Really "smart" case, in looks and functionality. Matches the tactile feel of the phone itself, and doesn't add unwanted bulk or weight. Protects the edges of the phone as well as the back and front. Has a real quality feel. Not prone to fray as my Samsung S6 case did (albeit after years of use). Really good price from amazon.

I bought this cover back in February for my new S10 and was happy to receive it (all very efficient and good from the seller). The nice new phone did not loose its slimline nature and the cover had a 'wake up' feature built into it which is important for me. I had Samsung genuine covers before and got used to its high-tech standards and durability. This case did not live up to the usual durability standards though. As you can see, it it tearing off at the bottom of the phone, where of course it has the most wear. To my mind it is a bit premature as the rest of the case is still in excellent condition, nice and shiny.One designer problem with it too - you cannot stand it as a tent to watch videos or rest on the table for talking hands-free - it is too slippery. Otherwise it is fine if a bit pricey!

Due to other reviews i was unsure whether or not to order this. Even though it has 4 stars from over 4,000 reviews, i had notice many reviews pointing out the poor quality. As Samsung product are normally of a high quality, I decided to give it a try.The case looked very nice and felt sturdy and streamlined on my phone.I put the case on my phone at about 10.30 am on Saturday morning and used it that day. I don't use my phone excessive on a weekend as I prefer to use my tablet. Sadly, when I looked at my phone on Sunday morning at around 8.00 am the front cover was already peeling away from the back cover. I picked my phone up to open the front cover and it came off in my hand.Not Samsung quality. I have returned the cover and I am waiting for a refund.

Excellent case the best ive had for my s10, fits perfect feels sturdy looks brilliant. Ignore the comments about it flapping open it will only do this if you hold your phone at a slant it doesn't lock shut but stays secure to screen when held correctly. Would recommend.
