Beautiful Plants after Two Months!
I purchased these during the second week of February. Now two months later I have a bunch of beautiful and healthy tomato plants. The first blossoms have appeared. These bush (determinate) varieties are perfect for our small backyard veg garden. They are a little more costly, but the quality of the seeds is worth the money.

Good but overpriced
85% germination in rockwool cubes, over heat mat with humidity dome. However, way overpriced. Picked up the same variety afterward at the local nursery for $3 with the same results.

All germinated
All the tomato seeds I planted germinated. Some had difficulty shedding the seed covering and were stunted. I don't know yet if they are true to variety. Some seeds I had purchased in previous years did not produce the tomato variety they were supposed to. Since these are from Burpee, I expect they will be true to variety.

Burpee seeds let me down.
Obviously ordered the seeds when it was still cold outside. Planted inside to grow plants to plant after frost. About 12 seeds never did sprout / grow after two weeks. Tried again. Same thing. Four weeks, planted in Miracle-Grow potting soil, to no avail. "Dead / useless seeds",. Only cost $6.31, and I can't get a refund, after April 16 2025. You can't plant until mid-May in NE Ohio. 9 May it's going to frost tonight. Instead of growing 3 or 4 plants out of 2 dozen seeds, I wound up ordering 4 live tomato plants at over $9.00+ each delivered. Not the plants these seeds could have made which I wanted. If they weren't useless. I recall using lots of Burpee seeds in the '60's - '70's. Makes me sad a company I thought I could trust let me down. I won't make the same mistake next year.

very happy
This was my 2nd order. Got the 1rst than couldn't find them, than did. There was many more than what they said. Started 24 and had a lot of seeds left so gonna put in area in garden to come up on there own. There hard to find. If I can get started there worth it. Weeks later I had 100% germination and plants are on there 2nd set of leafs. K it's 3/18/25. My 2nd yr. I grow a lot for the food bank here. I was very impressed with it last yr and the people at the food pantry loved them. BUT! I like to use plants that come up in spring from last yrs. But that also ment I mixed 3 different beef yellows. I orderd again from amazon. I even asked amazon to keep my history longer so I could get the same seeds yr after yr and they did. I planted 36 in starter kits I also got from amazon. Each 1 have 12 spots. I planted 2 seeds in each 1 and had a 98% germination. Some had doubles so I moved to the 2 or 2 that didn't. So I will have 36 of the beef steak in garden. All are about 4" tall now will cut bottom leafs off soon. Then will hoe up all from last yr stopping them and just have these. Next yr I will still start indoors just in case they don't come up next spring. when U deal with high breeds they can be different. Doing both I'm covered. I prefer to use my own cause they are used to my soil and I know no chemicals. I use ash and grass cuttings and I have a cat for fertilizer and and scrapes from in the house. Last yr I had these and yellow cherry red cherry and red beef steak. I had 85 plants. this yr why over 100. pepper plants 24. If U find a keeper hang on to it.

Bleagh
Grew great, beautiful tomatoes, but tasted worse than storebought. I had a slug problem last year, but they didn't bother these at all. Couldn't get enough of any other variety, but they left these well alone.
