Design Toscano Celtic Fairy's Perilous Perch Outdoor Garden Statue, Large, 19 Inch, Polyresin, Two Tone Stone

If you are debating on whether or not, you should buy this you should just do it! It was the best decision that I made and it is my new favorite thing that I’ve ever bought in my entire life. It is the most beautiful fairy statue that I’ve ever found and I am so happy pictures don’t even do this beauty justice it arrived in great condition no damages at all. This would make a great gift for any fairy lover. I also like that the wings are removable so that if you have to move, you don’t have to worry about it snapping off this was crafted very well.

I just received my statue in the mail and would like to start off this review by stating that apparently the person(s) responsible for shipping took the other reviews seriously. One of the common complaints was that the statue arrived broken and was poorly packaged. In my case the shipper seems to have taken extra care to correct that problem. The statue comes in 2 separate pieces both of which are completely encased tightly in form fitting Styrofoam in a inner box. The inner box was then placed in a much larger outer box and was wrapped in plenty of packing paper so as to provide a shock buffer during the usual wear and tear that occurs at loading docks and trucks. After unpacking the two components of the statue the wings easily slid onto the body of the statue and she looks beautiful. The details of the statue are exquisite especially considering the price. Although it was made from molds it looks like it was hand sculpted of wood by one of the Amish's best craftsmen. The quality of the paint job gives her skin a very real looking skin tone. The sharp detail of her facial features gives her a very life like appearance. Although the dimensions were listed in the product description I was pleasantly surprised by how tall she stands. According to the tape-measure I used the top of her head is at 15½ inches high and the top of her wings are both at just slightly under 17 inches high.For those who don't like reading long reviews here's the basics: It's a very beautiful high quality statue which arrived carefully packaged so as to prevent any damage during shipping. A very worth while investment in my humble opinion.

This is a nicely detailed statue, my only complaint is that it comes in two pieces, the wings slide on and can rock a little. Originally bought it for the front porch but it's so attractive I ended up keeping it indoors where I can see it more often. For outdoors I'd wouldn't mind it being a larger 48" however that would exceed $250 I'm sure. At $90 it is a bit pricey, but I could find nothing like it in this range and this statue is actually fairly affordable for the size and detail especially compared to other two toned in the collection. It's a shame, I'd love to have a companion piece even in this size, hopefully there will be more in future.

Oh I love this fairy, she is so beautiful, So detailed. I BOUGHT HER TO PUT OUTSIDE, SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL, IM AFRAID TO PUT HER OUT IN MY GARDEN, I DONT WANT ANYTHING TO HAPPEN TO HER,SO AS FOR NOW I HAVE HER IN HER BOX SECURE, TILL I FIGURE OUT, A SAFE PLACE FOR HER.

I had experienced a loss and bought this as a protection for their burial place. It is so sweet. It's a little light for the 17 inch one in my opinion but overall beautifully made and relatively sturdy. The wings are slid on but I think that's to protect it during shipping.
