Can’t beat the quality of this tool with the price. It’s a generic version of the Tyme Iron Pro (which retails at $160), and there’s a specific way to use this tool to achieve those ideal beach wave curls. I recommend watching the Tyme YouTube tutorials as that really helped me. This tool is definitely ideal for curling, the straightening side is meh. But for the price, definitely get it if you are looking for those soft textured waves!

Looked pretty beat up in the package; there were scratch marks on the handle and it did not come with instructions. I also found a hair. Clearly it was used and returned but I went for it anyway since I already had gone through the trouble of purchasing. I spent about ten minutes watching videos and trying but gave up. At that point I was already discouraged from the condition of the product. It heated up well and fast, but I didn’t get any results. May try to get the “real” one and put in more effort.

I have bought this curling iron twice. It has worked great and curled my hair so easily and quickly. Both times, however, it quit working after about 5 months. It just won't turn on.

I frequently use my straightener for curls and wanted to try this. This item is made of a light plastic material. The 2nd plate on the straightener is curved at almost a 90 degree angle. (Therefore I dont think this would double well as a straightener) The edges of the plates grabbed at the hair. After being on for 1.5 minutes, the unit was barely warm. Fortunately, this was a free return item. I have returned the unit and purchased the Remington twist and curl which I am extremely satisfied with.

I've only been using this straightener for a few weeks, but I already notice that I can achieve a much smoother and softer hair straightening than with other cheap irons. It heats up quickly, is comfortable to hold, and looks like a quality made device. No downsides I can really think of. Definitely feels like a premium quality product at an affordable price. Doesn't feel like I have any more split ends than usual and the cord is pretty long so I can plug it in where ever I need to go. I feel more comfortable using this than anything else in this price range.

It took me several times, passes and gliding directions to figure out how to do this right but I finally got it! It is alittle more simple to curl with compared to a regular curling iron. I honestly didn’t get the spectacular results as I expected like the online videos but my hair still came out very good. Unfortunately the curls in the back didn’t stay all day like the front pieces. Using this product right takes practice. Even though I didn’t get spectacular results, the product did do the job and curled good but only with practice.

We ordered this curling iron, but was disappointed because the iron did not work. It did not even power up. The product looked used and the box looked to have been opened previously. So we replaced it instead of returning the item. The second box looked new, and the iron was wrapped well. When I turned the curling Iron on, it power up for a few seconds and turned off. So we returned the second iron, and give up. We don’t usually write reviews. We order from Amazon all the time and happy with the products and service, but not this one.

I’m in love! Finally finding an iron that works with my hair has been a dream. Lately my hair has not been able to hold a curl whatsoever. After having bought and returned many irons (including another popular brand that looks like this iron), this one finally works for me. I did watch a lot of tutorials on this type of iron, but after several tries, I finally got it to work for me! I like looser curls so this was perfect. It heats up SUPER quickly and I don’t have to worry about burning myself. Overall great quality at a great price!**excuse the dirty mirror**
