I have a Culligan shower head, my second one, and ALWAYS buy these. I notice a huge difference, our water is so hard here in Florida. I live 5 miles from the gulf and it seems even worse than the middle of the state. But this works so well to keep my hair and skin softer and it's never leaked. I change at least twice a year and never had a problem.

Great filters and do exactly what I was looking for. My keratin treatment last longer and my highlights don't get brassy. As a hairdresser one of the most important things for me is the way my hair looks and feel. Thank you for having this filters in stock

I started to notice that our shower water had a metal taste to it, which I knew it couldn't be a good thing. So I started to buy filters for our shower and it has made such a difference. My housemates also noticed the difference, as I share the bathroom with two other girls and they shower more often than I do. They told me that it really helped their hair grow and become softer. It also helped their skin. As for me(have bleached/treated hair) and don't shower as often has helped me a lot with my skin and hair as well. My skin doesn't get as dry as it used to get and the rashes I get are more minimal than before(I have eczema).This is a great deal for three of them because it will last you for a year and a half. Each of them should only be used for 6 months. And when I took out our first filter out and switched it with the newer ones, I could see black stuff inside of the filter. So I highly recommend getting one if you wanna grow out your hair, want healthier skin/hair, and care about your health in general. It is a small investment, but in the long run it is worth it.

Not much to write as far as a review on a shower filter replacement. They work pretty well and I did purchase these in the hopes that I could soften water and filter out minerals in my water so that I could use my shampoo bars. Still unable to use my shampoo bars with out major residue, but as a shower filter, It does its job and I am happy with my purchase. Will purchase again.

I like price and filtering. My skin feels nice. Even my fingertips feel softer.

My city uses Chloramines rather than Chlorine, so in ordering this filter I didn't have high expectations, other than hoping it would at least soften our rather hard water. However, I want people to know the difference between our city water vs. what comes out of this filter is NIGHT and DAY. It has improved my hair and skin texture immensely and my shower no longer smells like the YMCA.I hesitated to order vitamin C filters cause they get bad reviews, they don't last long at all, and they are way too expensive. I have been using the same Aquacrest filter for five months and it's still working fabulously. I plan to change it out at the recommended six months. (This shower is only used by me, so if you share a shower you may need to replace it sooner).So if you want softer, less chemical water to shower in, I think this (and the accompanying Culligan showerhead it goes in), are a sound investment.
