Solid buy. Works as intended and has held up nicely.
I have had a few different styles of these from different manufacturers, this one is one of the better ones. I have had this now for a few years and it has held up very nicely. The cap that covers the lock has stayed in place and has kept corrosion out of the lock portion. The whole thing has held up nicely to the elements, it has been exposed to rain, snow, and salt, and thus far is not corroded and still comes apart and connects very easily. If I ever needed another one of these, I would definitely buy this one again.

Works well for regular breakaway chains, not so much with HD chains
I can't speak to the security of the lock. Most of these are pretty easy to break off if someone wants to. Just check out YouTube videos. I bought this lock set to discourage people from walking off with the receiver hitch mount when the boat isn't attached. The lock is certainly easy to install and remove. The locks are keyed the same and with this double set you have 4 keys so you have plenty of spares. My hitch is the 2" square mount and the locking bar has a safety pin that goes through the bar just in case the lock comes off for any reason, to keep the bar in place. There are 2 holes for the pin with O-rings to keep the pin from shifting during travel. The lock has a rubber cap to keep out dirt and water. The lock, once unlocked, doesn't require the key to lock, just push in the lock button. My boat trailer safety chains are fairly thick and when the lock is installed it's difficult to put the chains through the hole on the lock side of the receiver. It took a couple of times to get used to it and now it's not bad at all. That's not true for the chains and hooks for my Airstream travel trailer. The chains on that are really stout and the hooks are large. It is next to impossible to get them through the hole in the hitch because the lock head is in the way. You have to put the chain in before installing the lock.Overall I'm pleased, but I've seen the videos where it takes only moments to break the lock. It is handy to use and it fits nicely inside the receiver.

Worked great!
Bought an adjustable Rhino brand hitch that was missing the locking pins. Called twice for help from Rhino, with no callback or help. Found these and they fit perfectly since you need about 3 1/8” of usable pin length for the adjustable part. Saved my trip and working great!

Barely fits on my 2024 Ram 2500
This appears to be decent quality, but has the secondary cotter pin it says HAS to be installed through the main pin. On the Ram, I had to take off all the o-rings just to have a chance at it fitting and it's super tight, and very difficult to get the cotter pin on or off. In fact, you need a screwdriver or something to get ahold of the loop end of the cotter pin to get it off. Outside of that poor design, the pin does what it's supposed to do and appears pretty secure. We'll see how it does with a winter.
