Pleased!
The media could not be loaded. Where to start... Well the DIY aspect was very enjoyable, appeared a little dawnting when opening the box and finding any instructions, well nothing on paper anyway. There is a micro SD supplied that has everything you need on it, step by step assembly instructions and links to YouTube to watch the assembly. (if that's how you would prefer to do it)The main thing is that it was all clear and easy to follow which I was very pleased with.I have spent quite a few hours trying to get it setup right and if I can give any advice it would be to take your time with the main bed rails, ensure everything sits completely flat and the extruder nozzle is the same height across the whole of the bed. (everything has to be perfect!)Make sure the belts have enough tension as If they don't you will get a rubbish print(that's what I found as everything was a bit jerky). Leave the tap on the heater bed, I didn't realised that it actually helps with adhesion. This is my first 3D printer so the whole experience has been a giant learning curve. For what I paid I am very impressed or at least I am so far as when I bought this it had an extra £30.00 off. Just need to learn how to use the software provided, but they supply test prints on the micro SD.I would say for a first 3D printer it's a brilliant way of understanding how it all works and with all the information provided it's excellent.

It's great for beginners
All the parts needed came with the box, including a free slicer software with already set-up profiles for the printer, hence the delivery service is good. This printer is great for beginners, putting all the parts together took me a while but it also gave me the insight of the inner workings of the printer. Be sure to prepare a whole day for this (took me around 5 hours) and follow some videos online, it’s much easier that way. DON’T tighten too hard the screws holding the acrylic pieces otherwise you’ll break them, it happened to me, but the seller gave me another for free, which is nice of him. All the parts needed came with the box, including a free slicer software with already set-up profiles for the printer.I’ve printed a couple of things already with it, make sure that you play with the tuning as it improves the print quality, so far, I’ve had no troubles with it.

WARNING: Fire Hazzard
The Anet A6 has been found to suffer from the same design flaw as the Anet A8, which has already caused several house fires (Search the web for Anet house fire. The issue is due to the Anet A8 and A6 electronics. The heatbed - which has a high current is running directly through the electronics board, causing a load that far exceeds the abilities. If you own an Anet A8 or A6 you can fix this yourseld by adding a mosfet. Amazon sells several, search for 3d printer mosfet. There are many guides and videos out there showing how to perform this mod, and if you own any Anet printer you really should do it. Until you do, do not under any circumstances leave your printer unattended, and whatever you do do not put it in an enclosure like the popular ikea lack one as those will cause a fire to spread within seconds due to their wood/paper frame.ANet have gotten a very bad repulation for their awful designs, and the A6 is no exception. Go with something like an ender, or if you can afford to spend a bit more a prusa mini will last years longer and work out of the box (the anet a6 took ages to get working and produced awful quality prints). If you cant afford a different printer, you can build a Prusa i3 yourslef using many of the parts from an anet a6 or a8.

Suited to the hobbyist among us
The media could not be loaded. Definitely befitting someone like myself, who is handy and likes a challenge. A gift from me to me for my birthday!Requires a bit of sense to set up but once you’re there it’s plain sailing...I didn’t struggle with the instructions and there are video tutorials too so don’t just skip to the paged version (I nearly missed them). There is also a lengthy list of tips for tuning it to improve quality, would advise following that.

My first 3d printer. Was actually fun to build too.
At first when opening the package i was a bit worried. The build process was very daunting and took about 5 hours in total, but in the end it was actually fun.Printer needs alot of tweaking, its not a plug and play style system (like most) but this means its also customizable. Ive already ordered an auto leveling addon.Comes with a reel of plastic, and a holder. Not sure what else i can say but its a damn good printer and a bigger size than most , meaning you can print larger items. Also comes with an SD and SD reader. Highly reccomended.

Amazing 3D printer at a great cost!
This 3D printer is amazing!! I brought it for my Son for his 9th birthday, he loved building it the instructions were easy to follow. and I was unsure what the quality would be like considering the price but once we had it all together we were soooooo impressed by the outcome! My son has been busy designing and printing models since it arrived. It comes with some template examples you can print straight away, but to design your own you do need to download a 3D designing programme but there are plenty of free ones online. All in all we are so impressed it does sometimes need a bit of tweaking to get the printing started but once set up it’s brilliant!

Get what you pay for
Not a bad way to start on the 3d printer ladder. The build instructions arnt clear enough. Bad Chinese to English descriptions. Build quality is a little shaky but you get what you pay for. Now I have a better understanding of how to produce prints, I feel I can warrant spending more money on a better printer

Great printer
Great printer. Prints well out of the boxs with some minor slicer adjustments and is popular on thingiverse, so lots of modability. The main drawback is the frame rigidity that reduces the ability to print fast, but for me this wasn't a major concern. At this price, I would recommend to anyone wanting to get into printing with a DIY kit.
