Works as advertised. Easy setup.
Using to interface my FT-950 with JTDX for FT8 and FT4. Downloaded drivers IAW instructions and they installed without problem. After fiddling around a bit with the communication parameters, it's working flawlessly.

IT WORKS
I spent more time on trying to find a able that would povide CATRig Control for my Ft-450D. I ca across this cable by accident and read the reviews. Nothing seemed to work for my FT-450D. This cable is the ONLY cable that worked flawlessly. East to install, find com port, and get it to work with FlRig, FlDigi, and WJXT.Thank you for providing such an excellent cable. Look no further this cable WORKS !

Not all cables are equal.
I purchase two of these cables as Rig control cables for each of my Yaesu FT-450 transceivers to replace a cheaper knockoff cable that did NOT work even though they claimed it to be compatible with my Yaesu radios. The cheaper cable came up in my device managers COM PORT setting as having an incompatible chip in it which made it useless. If you want a cable that works for Rig control of listed Yaesu transceivers this one should work just fine. They Work flawlessly on my particular radios.UPDATE: The 3rd cable I purchased works flawlessly for Rig Control on my FTDX-3000. I highly recommend this cable. Unlike some of the cheap knockoffs, this cable actually works as it's supposed to. In this case you are paying the price for a quality cable. ALSO: One of my laptops is running windows 8 and the other two are running windows 10. No other testing has been done on any other windows systems but the cables work excellent on win 8 and win 10.

Relatively inexpensive and works well.
Consider this an FYI so you can avoid a frustrating experience using this product with N3FJP logging software.I could not get this cable to work when installed pursuant to the N3FJP instructions, which indicate a baud of 28.8. When I set the rate at 4.8, everything worked fine. 4.8 may not be the only rate that will work but it does work and the rate suggested by the N3FJP set up guide did not work. Lesson: Experiment with various baud settings before giving up.This was on an HP laptop running Windows 10. The cable connects from the USB port on the laptop to the CAT jack on the rig. This was not the least expensive cable on Amazon but it is a lot less expensive than what Yaesu sells to accomplish the same thing.BWT, the N3FJP software is quite functional and easy to use.
