I usually use De Atrementis document ink in fountain pens for sketching in line and wash but saw good reviews for this one - Lily- so thought I would give it a try. (It was a bit cheaper too.)This turned out to be a big mistake. It took about 20 minutes of shaking to get the pigment at the bottom of the bottle into the ink. In colour it matches the word ink on the bottle not the majority of the illustrated figure so is a cool, dull brown. I can't see any strong hint of green in its mass-tone and it wasn't totally waterproof on HP watercolour paper after 20 minutes of drying. This was disappointing in terms of performance and value for money - even my cheap Koh I noor document ink outperformed this - and I found the confusing names and labelling unhelpful. The only good thing I can say about it is that it is not a warm brown - which I have lots of. Luckily the De Atrementis inks are intermixable so I going to have to mix up my own cool brown shade. But I am definitely not going to buy these inks again and can't recommend them.
