My daughter loves music from her early childhood so we wanted to give her a keyboard which can be her best music companion. So for our little kiddo we wanted some easy but good quality keyboard . No doubt Yamaha is the best in keyboard industry and we looked for Yamaha models. EZ-220 came out to be the best one. It comes with a keyboard, power supply , keyboard stand and a musical note guide book.Keyboard beauties - It has 61 keys which gets lighted when played on. But you also have the option for switching the lights off if you don't like the lights . But we just love this feature.It has 3 choices of song , style and voice.Song -If you tap on songs button you an get options for 100 songs plus one demo song...my daughter's favorite one Twinkle Twinkle little star is one if the. It has a variety of songs like standard, duet, pianist,even classical.Style - If you tap on style you get choices of virtual bands like beat, ballad, dance, disco etc.Voice - Tapping on voice gives you choice of 392 built in voices of quite a good collection of musical instruments like guitar, drum, synthesizer, organ,piano and so on which is quite unique.On/off option - There are options for sticking on and off the light and page turner .Pause - There is button for pause also.So, you can have a break and then continue on.REW/FF - there is button for rewind and fast forward also.Master volume - it is divided in two semicircles one for volume up and other for volume down.Lesson part- there is lesson part for left hand and also for right hand which is quite useful for beginners.Now coming to learning musicIt's a 3 step feature. You can go for any mode and all tends to learning music .1. Listen and learn - choose any song in song list . Tap listen and learn button.2. Waiting - if you go for waiting it will wait for you till you play the keys3. Timing - lighted key waits for you to make the sound with the background sound being on.YES - Yamaha education Suite or YES is nothing but a very good education tool which prepares you for music in a easy way. You choose a song, tap on start button and lighted key will guide you through the path of musical melodies. You can play one hand or both hand it's your convenience after all.iPad apps for keyboard - We installed the EZ-220 page turner app in our iPad which is nothing but the visual representation of the lesson guide which comes with the pack. The advantage is that while playing music you don't have to turn the pages manually and it gets to next page automatically. We like this app.There are 3 more apps like Note star, Piano Diary and Visual Performer for EZ-220 but since I told it's a beginning step for our daughter we have not installed these apps yet.Keyboard stand - The keyboard stand is really not up to mark and when the keyboard is rested on it it's not so stable but if you don't put any pressure on it then it's ok to work on.iPad/laptop connection - Connecting the keyboard with iPad is really EZ. We do it by EZ-220 page turner app.if you want to connect laptop with it you need a use 2.0 cable and you are all set to go.Power supply plug - The power supply plug is ok and does its job.Beside the keyboard stand everything about EZ-220 is fantastic and it's well worth the money. Just go for it. 😀

Got exactly what I expected. Sound quality certainly could be better, but it is priced accordingly. The lighted keys help quite a bit and are easily turned off if so desired. Works excellent with synthesia! It's a bit frustrating that I had to buy the power cord seperately, but I knew I would need to do this before I purchased the keyboard anyway.Package came sooner than I expected.Pros:+ Lighted keys help with learning and can be turned off with a single button+ Sound is good for the price+ Lighted keys work wonders with Synthesia software+ Keys don't wobble like other similarily priced keyboardsCons:- Had to pay for power cord and shipping on the power cord seperately, that sucked since I ordered with 2 day shipping- I guess it was a bit heavier than I expected- I think the box it came in looked stupid- Keys aren't weighted, but you shouldn't really expect that with this pricetag anyway- I suck and can't play it very well

Cal in the Real Gotham, my wife bought this for me for Fathers Day! I love it! Easy to use and set up. Battery and power cord(mine came sans power cord), capability, sustain pedal jack, plus headphone jack. Light up keys help with the lessons. Ample room on the stand to hold tablet and songbooks. Honestly this is a well made quality sounding 61 key electric keyboard. I recommend this product as a first/introductory instrument into electronic keyboards. Hundreds of sounds, instruments, and drum sounds come pre stored. Also has a metronome feature to help with keeping timing. It will take a day or more of reading the manual and playing with all the bells and whistles, but that’s half the fun.

This keyboard is a lot of fun, even if you have never played the piano before.You pick a pre recorded song, and then play the keys as they light up. The keyboard automatically provides backing instruments, so you sound great.Power supply is not provided, which is a bit mean.Order a power supply, if you decide to buy keyboard. Otherwise uses lots of batteries.Does not come with a stand or stool.

Excellent value for the money, everything you need to get started.Includes a song book and manual.The iPad setup works with keyboard and advances the pages as designed when using the app.Buyer Suggestion:1) Connect a Apple computer to the USB port and take advantage of many apps, eg. record, playback music2) On Amazon, buy a Bluetooth:- portable transmitter and- headset.Plug in the BT device into the 1/4" (this is the bigger size) audio output jack of keyboard so keyboards sounds are sent to the headset when playing, without disturbing others and be cord free.

Excellent keyboard for a beginner/student. Has great sound and good built in tutorials to get you started. Lots of different instrument sounds to play with and a lot of built in songs to practice with. My daughter will start taking lessons and I have no doubt this keyboard will be great to learn on. It's nice that it comes with the power adapter and the stand is nice and sturdy. I'll probably end up buying the add-on sustain pedal. Oh, and the headphone port is nice as well as the USB out.

My kids love this keyboard! The light up keys are nice and you do have the option to turn them off. The sound quality is excellent! My only problem is that the stand didn't come with any screws but I did notice the box was torn at the bottom from shipping so they might have fallen out. I will contact the company to see if they can send some. I would recommended this keyboard!

Good for beginners. Easy to install and apparently good quality.

This keyboard is a great option for our 7 year olds’ start with lessons. He likes all if the different sounds that it can make.

I use the programme to master songs.

Although listed as "used" it was received in pristine condition. It sounds amazing and my nephew was so thrilled with this gift. I know he will get years of pleasure from the Yamaha keyboard. But what else did I expect? It's a Yamaha!! strongly recommended.
