Gustaf's Licorice Duos, 5.29 Ounce (Pack of 12)

I fell in love with wine gum/ black licorice duos in Aruba a couple years ago. I've been craving them since. I ordered these and the price is great even if you have to buy in bulk. Unfortunately they are not what I was expecting or had before. The fruit side reminds me of gummy worm/ bear flavor with a softer texture. The black licorice side is similar texture and very little flavor. The ones I had before were firmer, it was best to suck on them for a minute and they weren't nearly this sweet.I'll probably on keeping them because 1. They are gluten free so my kids can eat them 2. The rest of my family love gummy bears and worms so they are ok with these 3. The licorice end is mild enough that my 4 year old insists I'm wrong it's not "the yucky black stuff".I regret buying these. I chose them because they were less per ounce than another brand. I will be buying the other one in the hopes I can find what I'm looking for. I won't be eating these but my kids might.

There is no licorice flavor, no wine gum flavor. Just a flat almost salty blandness. I so wanted to like this, the reviews said it was good, but not for me. The texture is there and the product was fresh, but the flavor was way off.I wish I could return it, but after opening one of the bags I guess that is out of the questionstill looking for a good gluten free licorice

Most yummy candy. Can’t stop eating these.Like Dutch Drop-wine gums!!

the kids like it - it is more like a fruit gummy than licorice

i used the candy for Halloween guests due to the fall colors of red, yellow and orange. the Candy has good fruit flavor with the licorice half making it a unique and subtle candy, thats not too sweet.

Had these in Amsterdam and had to have them here in the U.S. great!
