Great walking stick for my grandmother.
My grandmother loves it. The crook on the top gives her a great spot to hang onto and its a very nice easy to use height for her (5 foot 6) and for me (6 feet even). Its lightweight and well balanced with good grips both up high and down low. It looks really cool and I feel like a wizard carrying it around.

Short for tall men.
Perfect workmanship. I bought the longest one, 58” and it's about 6” short for me. I’m 6’5” and prefer more length. It works okay since I wrapped 550 paracord around the hand area. I use this for hiking, and plan to install a spike on the end of it for off-road use.

Quality!!!
Excellent quality. The one I received was a solid piece with no knots in the wood. Wonderful craftsmenship and weighty without being cumbersome. I have zero worries about it snapping mid use.

Sturdy and handsome
This is a well-made, sturdy, and handsome walking stick. I am blind and it gives me the additional stability I need. I get at least one compliment about it every time I am out. My nurse suggested this to me because she thought I was too young for a cane. I'm really glad she did. I don't feel self-conscious being out and about with this. I went one size smaller than suggested and I'm happy I did. I think I'd have had to reach up too high with the suggested size.

Great Quality Walking Stick — Just One Small Issue
The Brazos Handcrafted Wood Walking Stick with the twist design is a beautifully made piece of craftsmanship. The wood is solid, smooth, and feels incredibly sturdy in the hand. You can tell a lot of care went into shaping and finishing it — the twist detail adds a stylish touch without being over the top. It’s lightweight enough for long walks but still has that strong, reliable feel you want from a hiking or daily walking stick. In terms of performance, it provides excellent support and balance on a variety of terrains. I’ve used it on trails, sidewalks, and uneven ground, and it’s been steady and comfortable every time. The grip feels natural, and the height is well-proportioned for everyday use. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is the rubber tip. It tends to come off more often than it should, especially when walking on rougher surfaces. I’ve had to push it back on several times, and while it’s not a dealbreaker, it is a bit inconvenient. A tighter or more secure-fitting tip would make this walking stick absolutely perfect. Overall, though, this is a high-quality, beautifully crafted walking stick that performs very well. If Brazos upgrades the rubber tip, it would be an easy 5-star product. I’d still happily recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, handcrafted walking stick.

Urban walking stick
Very study and of high quality. Love the twisted look. A nice alternative to the canes I have by the same brand. Do not think this would work well as trail poles, but for my urban use on solid flat walking surfaces it is great.

Beautifully made, well balanced, multiple handholds
I’ve wanted a hand-carved hardwood trekking staff for ages, but I don’t have a lathe or the proper carving tools. This is ideal for artistic modification if you’re into that. It’s lovely dark oak with lots of character, nicely stained, just the right weight, length, and heft. Perfectly balanced from end to end. It was priced low enough that it won’t break my heart if I wreck it (I will eventually). Excellent dog-walking staff. Great for traipsing through woods and moving vines and brush aside. (Might need it some day for smacking sense into a gator who wants to see what my Hokas taste like. This is Florida - gators are everywhere and encounters near water are inevitable.) I like the curves in this Ergo design, and might get the Hitchhiker as well. Like being able to support homegrown manufacturers! Also this seller ships quickly and boxes it up nicely, delivery was fast with no damage.

Versatile and 'cool'!
I am younger than you'd expect someone to be who needs a day-to-day walking assist. My issue is not age-related and variable in how much it affects my balance and muscles. I got the straight stick design and this walking stick is perfect in helping me maintain balance and walk with confidence. Unlike with a cane, I can vary where I grip the walking stick and find that's helpful when going from level ground to an incline, to steps, across uneven surfaces, etc. The stick is well made and handsome in appearance. I find people are interested to ask about the walking stick (as opposed to asking "what's wrong?" when I've used a cane). I got one for my husband (who loves to hike), and for an older relative (who has arthritis related mobility issues). For my husband and relative, I chose different designs. For our varying uses, we each are pleased.
