This product is very different from synthetic melatonin. I have bought many brands over the years and was allergic to everything. Heart palpitations and jittery the next day.I am finally sleeping deeply, no nightmares, no reaction the next day. I highly recommend this.

This works fast and is really good. I took it the first night I got it and went to sleep fast and I dreamed. And that never happens any more. I have parkinson's so anything that can help me sleep and stay asleep and dream is a real winner. My husband has insomnia and he took it and slept and didn't have to get up in the night at all. And that very seldom happens. All of this in just the first night! If it doesn't keep working I'll update this review. But, I sure hope I don't have to do that. We both think it was worth the price and we will buy it again, if it keeps working. Right now we are just as happy as can be. We have tried all of the other melatonin's in all different brands and none of them worked like this does. It works fast.I just placed another order for this product! It is still working! I would recommend it to any one that has trouble sleeping.

I hoped this would be better than other melatonin, but no. Same bad dreams and groggy morning. Didn’t improve ability to get to sleep. I tried to take half and that didn’t improve it. Pricey experiment.

DO NOT BUY-- PRODUCT CAN'T BE RETURNED IF IT DOESN'T WORK FOR YOU. I like the fact that this melatonin is plant based. I've tried other melatonin products, 1 mg & 2 mg so I figured I'd try 3 mg, maybe I'd have better results with the Herbatonin. I'm having the same results with the 3 mg Herbatonin: I'm not sleeping more than 3-4 hours per night, I'm woken up by violent dreams. I e-mailed the company about returning the product,I was basically told too bad for you, we don't accept open returns. I will never do business with this company again.

I try not to use a sleep aid but when I do melatonin has usually worked. Not only that, but it helped break a cycle of constant migraines. Then I found out that melatonin was typically made from animals or synthesized. Being a vegetarian I didn't want the vibes of dead animals ruining my dream state (only half kidding). Out of desperation I tried the synthetic form and boy did that put me off. After one night of wild dreams and waking up feeling very odd I ordered the Herbatonin 3mg Plant Melatonin. Though I gulped at the price I found that plant melatonin works. It is mild and if I'm having a night where I'm just not going to sleep it may not work, but usually I drop off to sleep about thirty minutes after ingesting. It's important to relax and then hopefully you will feel sleepier and sleepier and fall to sleep naturally. Upon waking I don't feel groggy, but sometimes find myself napping later in the day. For me two capsules seems to be a good dose. Sweet dreams!

Did not take this for sleep purposes but for general health benefits as recommended by Dr. Shallenberger. The jury is still out for long term but so far, so good.

I love this product! I was suffering from adrenal fatigue and really needed to get some good quality rest over the long term. I started taking this before bed and it helped tremendously. Not only did I sleep well, my dreams are much more vivid and my sleep is much deeper. Having tried other melatonin products, I can honestly say this is the best one I have found on the market. I purchased the .3mg product as well to help taper off the 3mg when I was back on track with my sleep and that was a good idea. I keep this product on hand all the time now and take it when I am under stress to make sure that I get a good night's sleep.
