This replaces a rotary model and initially took some getting used to as it seems to pluck the hair rather than cut it. It seems to be a good well made product and serves us purpose well.

Have used epilators for 30 odd years but wanted a travel light weight one that was rechargeable. Although this compact it doesn't pull a punch. The tweezers are very small and curved, which makes it hard to get all the hairs. You have to go over lots of times. I was not expecting it to be as good as the Braun mains I have but expected a little more than this. As a back up and for travel it's OK. You get what you pay for.

It is not that comfortable to use

Nice compact epilator, very ergonomic, easy to hold and use. Gets to grips with very short hairs (I've been amazed at some of the hairs it's managed to grab!) but struggles slightly with fine hair. I use this as a top up between waxing to keep those annoying stray hairs at bay, but also use it to do whole legs if I don't have time for/can't afford a waxing session. I wouldn't use it in place of a full size epilator as it doesn't really have enough tweezers. It also works well on facial hair. I don't find it at all uncomfortable, but this could be because I've been using an epilator for years. It could also be because it isn't designed for ripping out large patches of hair! It's much better for smaller patches and 'tidying up'. The built in LED light is very bright, but I have found it very useful for spotting missed hairs!I've found that it charges quickly and I easily get 30-40 minutes out of each charge. The light comes on when the epilator's charging, but does not indicate when it is fully charged. However, I've found that after the first charge, about 3-4 hours is sufficient, so easily chargeable in an evening. Note though, that the instructions state that the epilator should not be used while it is charging and plugged into the mains. The lead comes with a UK plug, so no need to spend extra money on an adaptor.So far, so good, I'm happy with my smaller but very functional epilator, and I'm very happy to recommend it to others.

It worked very well and is easy to use - good value for money. Two small gripes, it would be good if there was a clip on cover to protect the top while stored and there appears to be no way of knowing when it is fully recharged - the charging light always seems to stay on (or have I never left it long enough?!) Still worth a 5 star rating at the price.

Not good to painfull to use

This is very painful to use on face and I cannot bear to use it at all above my top lip, OK on chin.The tweezers randomly pull out hairs, it is difficult to get one are aimed for. I prefer to use my old pair of good tweezers and only brave this hair pullouter occasionally.
