GiroTrig MIPS Ski Helmet - Snowboard Helmet for Men, Women & Youth -

I have a "Thousand Heritage Collection Helmet" for my bike commute in summer and I needed another one for the cold in winter. I got the "Giro Trig MIPS Snow Helmet" and I'm making excuses to go out in my bike just to have it in my head. It's super comfy, warm (but not too warm), the earpads are excellent, the vent covers are amazing I use them close most of the time and they keep my head dry. Overall the materials and quality are THE BEST, very pro. I never knew a helmet could be actually comfortable, my Thousand helmet is stylish but is VERY uncomfortable. Giro is comfy and looks great! I have the "Matte Citron"(neon yellow) and it's perfect to go out at night. I also got Giro googles and they work like a charm, I never got water or snow on those googles...I just can't say enough good things about them, a match made in heaven. I'm sold on the brand.

Yes this is a positive review! the helmet was easy to size is warm and comfortable to wear this is my first ski/snowboard helmet I have been skiing forever and never wore one till 2021 with the new helmet rules taking place all over I was pleasantly surprised and will continue to wear this. Why not?

Good helmet for the price. It’s pretty comfortable, and the twist dial is pretty nice. It does press into the back of my neck a little, but not enough to make it uncomfortable.Overall, the helmet performs well. No real fogging issues (with Uvex goggles). Dogged up a little in the Gondola, but once air started moving across my helmet, it cleared right up.Vents are nice, and kept me cool. Close them easily when it got cold.My main issue is that the Bluetooth speakers that Giro recommend, the Outdoor Tech Chips, don’t fit very well in the ear pouches. They cause the pads to press into your ears a lot more, which got annoying after a few hours on the mountain.My Smith Hustle from ten years ago is still way better than this one. And it was way cheaper. But for the money, this one is good. Especially considering the price difference between this one and the next step up.

It’s ok. But it’s not round shaped. When i put this on my oddly shaped head, i look like a minecraft character

Great reasonably priced helmet for winter sports! It kept my baby safe, held her goggles true, and was easy to fit securely. The vents mechanism on top is smooth and no trouble to manipulate with gloved hands - keeping your head a comfortable temperature throughout its use. Giro is known for their helmets in the cycling world; this meets the same standards of excellence.

I bought with the matching Giro goggles, and both fit together perfectly. Can't wait to use it this winter!

I have no complaints about this product, other than maybe the fact that it doesn't come with a carrying pouch, which would've been a plus, other than that it's a good quality MIPS helmet.
