I've been meaning to get one of these due quite a while and given I've recently had cause to do a lot more travel, I thought it was the to invest in one.It's a lightweight and compact unit and comes with both a permanent sticky fixing pad and a suction cup to fix it to the glass. It's powered by a long mini usb cable from the cigarette lighter socket which also provides a USB A connector so you can still charge your phone.I fitted a 64Gb micro SD card in mine (no card is included for info and the unit won't do much without it). It's giving hours of hi-def recordings with that capacity.You can use both cameras at once in 1080p mode or just one in 2160p 4k if you only want forward facing images.It also stores a small amount of power so that when parked up, if it detects a shock from someone hitting your car it will record a short clip for you.Overall very pleased with this purchase and would recommend.

I had previously used the last version of Toguards dual dash cam which I was very impressed with, but the Mrs needed one so decided to get her a dash cam. It's just as good as the previous version and had the same features and picture quality. The main difference I can see with this one is the screen size is alot bigger at 3".It comes with everything you need to get started and you can be ready to use it within minutes as it's pretty much plug and play. Just plug it in and out in a micro SD card and you're ready to go. One thing which is a nice touch is they give you the option of 2 ways to mount the camera. You get a self adhesive flat bracket that fits directly to the windscreen or an optional suction cup mount which means you can change the cameras position when ever you want or even move it to another vehicle.I think that anyone who drives a car show have a dash cam for insurance purposes as this would help with your claim if you can show it was the other drivers fault, because as nice as people pretend to be at the scene, it all changes when they walk away and then they will say it was your fault when it was theirs. With a dash cam there is no arguments. It can also quickly defuse road rage situations as you simply just point out that they are being recorded and you will send it to the police should they continue.... They will get back in their car then!Lastly, if you're a cashdriver I think it's important as I've seen a number of videos of Uber drivers who are assaulted or verbally abused and again a dash cam can defuse a situation or you can use this web giving your account to the police.You could, if you wanted to, use it as a security camera at home as you could plug it into a USB power point and then utilise the motion sensor so it starts recording when it detects movement. You could use the auction cup mount to attach to a window and film outside and use the 2nd camera to film the room.The menu system is easy to navigate and operation is just as easy. When it's plugged in and you're ready to drive away, just press the "ok" button once to start the recording and after that it will automatically start recording as soon as you turn your car on and shuts off when you turn it off. Image quality is crisp and you can transfer the video files either by plugging the camera in directly to your PC or remove the micro SD card and plug that into your PC. Brilliant piece of kit.Update... Had this a few weeks now, it is compact if cables are hidden you gorget its there! Guardian Angel no less!! Brilliant clear picture quality.

I have just finished setting up and testing this dash camera, which arrived the day after I ordered it. The packaging is very good and the instruction booklet is better than most. Once installed, the camera worked superbly; a great improvement on my old one. The picture quality is excellent and the controls are easy to use, once I became familiar with them. Note that the camera has to be in standby mode to bring up the menu with the M button. Standby mode means that it is not recording, so press the OK button to stop it recording and put it in standby.I have one niggle with the design of the adhesive screen mount. This mount is set to a fixed angle that is not compatible with my Qashqai windscreen. If I used the adhesive mount, the backward facing camera would be pointing downwards. It is only suitable for cars with a more upright screen. However, the suction mount works very well and has good adjustment. I haven't rated the night vision or the motion detection, because I haven't used them yet. Overall, I am very pleased with the camera and would recommend it.
