will not dissolve completely. final product does not set up properly. compared to other beeswax i am not convinced this is pure beeswax. maybe it's a translation issue, but the label does not say it's actually pure beeswax just "100% natural" and "cosmetic grade granules of beeswax pellets". i bought this last year and just finally opened the package to use and cannot return. do not recommend for balms.

I appreciate the coffee-bag style design, but as a product that is most likely to be used by an eco-conscious consumer, I was disappointed to find that the product is not only housed in a foil blue package, but also inside an inner plastic bag with a twist tie. The outer blue package is folds over and stays secure once open and re-closed, but it did not need to be packaged in a plastic liner. Let's save this planet with less packaging!!!

I heard folks complain about the smell in reviews of this product. I use this Beeswax for making firestarters, not for medical, personal or candle-making purposes. I haven't noticed any smells outside the norm when burnt with other ingredients (sawdust, fatwood, etc). This Beeswax appears to perform as expected for utilitarian purposes, and seems sufficient for other similar applications. I would buy it again.

I use it to make personal lip-balms. Never used any other brand. Pretty simple, 2 parts beeswax, 2 parts coconut oil, flavoring of choice to taste, plus stevia to taste. Standard size tube lasts about 4 times longer per application and overall, than non-beeswax lip-balms. As good as Burt's Bees at 1/12 the cost, with a flavoring to your taste.

Used this to make "board butter" for treating cutting boards, wooden kitchen tools, etc. Product was so pure, did a beautiful job on a birch butcher block counter!

Haven't used it yet. Product packaging and quality very good. The only thing I was noticing is that it says pellets but there is a good amount of shavings instead pellets.
