I have a pair that are a few years old but the new ones don't seam as thick

I only wear bridgedale socks for hiking in hiking boot and shoes. Comfortable, great padding and merino wool mix allows feet to breath keeping cool and stopping smelly feet, they also last years. I now wear bridgedale lightweight merino hike as everyday socks.

+ Top-notch comfort.+ Not too thick, not too thin. Great for year-round wear (SE England)+ Excellent fit, at least for me. My shoe size is UK 8, and the Medium fits perfectly+ Elastication is sufficient to hold socks in correct position on ankle, without excess compression. So can be worn all day.+ Although designated as a 'Hike' sock, also fine for general purposes. I do walk about 6k daily.+ If colour is a factor, stone grey is neutral - goes with anything.- Somewhat on the more pricy side, and they do gradually wear thin in the sole.But overall, the most comfortable socks that I have ever worn, so the overall value is high.

Very Comfortable Socks, especially if your on your feet for a Good While.

I have only been using Bridgedale socks for maybe 15 years now. They are so tough and well made, some of my first pairs are still in use with no holes or damage. Take into account I often wear them without slippers in the house on carpets for 15 years. No other socks have managed that before.If only people would stop buying cheap socks they have to throw away every few months and buying new ones. The environment would be a lot better off for it and so would their wallets.
