Godox softbox 95cm 37" Octagon Honeycomb Grid Strip Softbox Strip Box with Bowens Mount

This is a very sturdy product but it can be hard to assemble since the rods are metal instead of plastic and it comes with no instructions. Over all I love this gaint soft box.

Quality product! Setup really wasn't that bad. My first time putting it together took maybe 10 minutes. I put the spokes in the outer edge of the octabox first. Then attached them to the Bowens ring. It took a little strength to get the last few in, but once it's together, it feels quite solid. The scrim and outer lining attached quickly with velcro. The grid is a nice and tight fit. This is not exactly pop-up, but if you plan your shoot, setup can be easily managed. Paired with my AD200 Pro (and Godox S-type mount) and the results are great!

I knew what I was getting into when purchased this, but still - Such a pain assembling this thing - although by the 10th time I think I'm getting faster at it. Already bent one of the metal spines - yet they seem quite strong nonetheless. The rest of the construction seems quality too. From the knitting, to the velcro. Only time will tell otherwise. Fits standard Bowens mounts fine, and can rotate while mounted. The carrying bag is helpful. The inner diffuser is kind of hard to attach so you either leave it on or off. All in all, good product.

The quality of the material surprised me. I was very happy it was not cheap looking or feeling. I did have some difficulty assembling the item to the Bowems' Mount device. This was overcome by wearing gloves to remove the probe and replace as designed. I was disappointed that there were no directions in the box/bag. I am not a novice so with a little bit of difficulty I was able to assemble the soft box correctly. To my amazement everything fit nice. It attached to my Bowens 500R with no issues at all. The Velcro fit perfectly with ease. Every section matched with no light protruding, just a minimal amount from the rear of the box, a non-issue for me. The price for me was acceptable considering the quality of the material. I saw many items on line that were more expensive, I would try the Godox first and if not satisfied return and try the others. In my opinion you will not be returning this item. Definitely worth a try. I highly recommend. If I have any issues I will return to update this review. In the future include the directions and I'm sure you'll receive a 5 star!

Godox does it again with a great deal on a 60x90 softbox. Setup is easy and intuitive and it came with the grid which is a huge plus. Nothing more frustrating than getting a softbox and having an issue finding a grid the same size.This is a great softbox for the price, especially when you include the grid. A very welcome addition to the family.

Getting the rods into the pockets at the edge of the soft box was difficult, until I used a pen with tapered end to open up the pocket. Once formed to shape with the pen, installing the rods into the pockets then went very easy. Written instructions for which pockets to use in the Bowens adapter would have helped, but I figured it out, and the soft box is fully assembled. I like the result that I get with the first one purchased, so this second one should do the same. Both will be used for an upcoming Still Life shoot
