Rendel (DVD) [2018]

It was watchable and at times enjoyable, but I think the impact of the film was lost in the translation from Finnish to English.

There are a lot of things about this film that don't make sense, but the biggest is why the action is so dire. What's the point of an action movie if the action is boring? And not just boring, but not well filmed. I can forgive plot holes and poor acting if the fights or chases or whatever are thrilling. They don't even have to be original, just good. This thing? It's like they'd never seen a good action film to know what it was supposed to look like.Oh, and then there's the diabolical English audio track. Talk about lifeless! I don't mind foreign language films and I don't mind dubbed films - as long as it's done well.Comparisons to The Crow, Batman, and The Punisher? Yeah, right. In your dreams. I ignored the bad reviews and bought this, please don't make that mistake!

Iff u like dub films u are going to love this action movie, it's got a story that you can understand. And its pretty good film 7/8 ratings

Good Film , great to watch when nothing else on TV

it looked good on the trailer, the fact theres no dialogue on the trailer went over my head, I didnt realise this was a foreign film.of course theres subtitles but it means I'm looking at text and not looking at the film. Amazon didnt advertise the fact it's in a foreign language which they should do, its money spent at the end of the day.two stars because it's in a foreign language- the films pretty good but subtitles detract massively.

just did not like it that much

I bought this after discovering it thanks to The Rasmus but that was the only good thing about it, the song over the credits.
