Instructions could have been more clear especially with patterns requiring detail. Alternatives to wool/yarn not suggested & plugs throughout for name brand yarns: eg. Crazy sexy wool (by Wool And The Gang), which albeit ethical is incredibly expensive!I wished the author would cater to a wider audience with more examples for keen learners of C2C CROCHET.The patterns & projects are great; the snobbery I couldn't stand. Save this for the coffee table, there's more substantial material available (eg. ARNE & CARLOS books, or Mullett-Bowlsby's COMPLETE CROCHET COURSE) at a fraction of the cost.

This book is so beautiful! I bought it for the skyline pattern, but the first pattern I made was the shawl that I changed into a baby blanket. It was a great first project to try C2C and nowI feel ready to tackle the skyline design after the holiday rush.

Love the book with the designs.The book offers diagrams but also in words. C2C diagrams are difficult to read for my brain. I tried different methods and they all failed. For C2C, I must have the design in words which is great.Not all designs come with a diagrams but they all come in words. The author explains how to read the graph but for many as far as I know, it doesn't set well with the brain.She explains how to do crochet C2C but also how ro use bobbins.I will recommend this book even for beginners, give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

Wanted to learn corner to corner crochet. I’m a little dense at times and really need step by step instructions. The book only showed the general steps. I found the general information on Pinterest. I’m still confused about corner to corner crochet. I’m not a novice crocheter and this book did not help me with corner to corner crochet. Not a great teaching book but has some nice patterns.

This book is exactly what I have been hoping for. The instructions are clear and concise, the photographs show great detail to illustrate the instructions, and the color graphs give a good visual overview. This book is helpful both for people who prefer to follow written instructions (me) and those who prefer to follow graphs.

This book is filled with patterns for c to c crocheters. I love this stitch and seeing the different patterns has opened a whole new venue for more projects for gifts or myself. The directions are written very clearly so that even if you are not familiar with the ctoc stitch you can easily pick it up. I highly recommend this for anyones' crochet library, you won't be disappointed.

As many C2C blankets as I have made, I still learned from this handy to have reference book.

If you are wanting to try corner to corner crochet then this book is perfect. I have never done a blanket like this and wanted to learn. I got this book and the instructions are clear and very easy to understand. Has several pretty patterns in the book. A must have for any crocheters library.

It is a beautiful book but only suitable for a complete beginner of C2C. I was disappointed with the patterns, the throw on the front is actually made up of nine separate panels, not one large graphghan which is what I was expecting/hoping. I bought the book as I wanted to learn this technique.Another beautiful throw that I had seen in the book looked so impressive but it was actually made using a varigated yarn not a fancy technique. If you have never done a C2C and want to learn then this is 100% a wonderful book for you but not if you already know how to C2C, just my opinion

I gave 3 stars purely for the quality of the print... Though the projects inside warrant some merit, disappointing not to find something more original, with depth/ passion both for the maker and uniqueness of the end result!But l would not discourage those who seek to improve their experience of crochet... if nothing else, it does inspire you to take up where the designer leaves off.In short, it’s more than a great beginning, but like a runner, it runs out of steam as you turn each page! By the time your at the end... you sigh with disappointment.

This is a very good book and the patterns that it does have are very well explained. Would be very easy to follow for a beginner or a more experienced crocheter.The reason I only gave it 4 stars if that I was expecting there to be more patterns. The patters are lovely, but I was expecting more variety.Definitely worth giving a go for the price if you are new to C2C, but if you are after lots of patterns to choose from you might need to look at other titles.

Love this book. Very clear. Very inspiring. Nice projects. Explains c2c v well so can go on to design your own. Book grows on you.

Would have preferred clearer pictures and instructions, however did eventually work it out., worked on pattern started another .
