Pilot FriXion Ball Slim 038 Retractable Erasable Gel Ink Pen, Extra Fine Point 0.38mm, Light Blue Ink, 3 Pens & 6 Refills Value Set

This ink disappears ("erases") with heat. I bought a batch in this color because: (1) The color is close to "non-repro-blue" which will always remind me that this is the ink that can be removed, and (2) It offers great contrast when I make notes in book margins or against black laser-printed text (without resorting to the loudness of red ink). Meanwhile, the .38 size makes it possible to make very fine notations. The tip sometimes feels a bit scratchy, but less so (I find) than the .4 size frixion pens. (At any rate, it doesn't actually scratch the paper, and the gel rolls well enough that you don't need the kind of pressure that leave grooves in the paper even after erasing.)I have decided not to use frixion pens in standard ink colors, for fear I'll reach for one while signing a check, or otherwise not notice when I've used which kind of ink. A set of these light blue pens, plus a set of the highlighters, releases me from reluctance to make notes in books that I might later need to scan or photocopy or lend, etc.Beware that Frixion notes will fade away if left in a hot car, etc. (Freezing the material restores most of the ink's opacity, but of course then you get back *everything* that was erased, perhaps making for over-written and hence illegible notes.)

I have been a Frixion fan since I got my first one about five years ago. I love the super fine tip and how they write. Shipped fast and packaged to protect the contents.

Fits Frixion 3 and 4... writing is a bit scratchy but the color is good... can't complain much

Bought these to refill my current Light blue Frixion pens. Refills do not fit the current Frixion model and are very small. They will also, therefore, wear out the ink much more quickly. Definitely don’t bother to buy them unless you need a very small and very fine point pen that is not like the other Frixion pen models.

Who doesn't like an erasable pen? These are great. I use the blue one almost everyday, so of course I ran out of ink. Beautiful color! Oh, and did I mention it's ERASABLE!?

Love this color and how small these are. So easy to just toss in a pocket or bag and barely notice it's there
