U.K. Publication
Did not realize this is a publication in the UK, using metric measurements and ingredients not found in the average American supermarket.

Buy the Print Version
This is an EXCELLENT magazine for the serious baker like I am. I am contemplating getting a subscription. BUT, and it's a big one, it really only. works in the print form...not the kindle. I like most of my print media on electronic form, but this just doesn't work. You can't take it to the kitchen with you. Changing from 1 page to the next is combersome compaired to a real mag. This mag is one that you want to flip back and forward. One day after getting the kindle version, I went to a brick and moter store and bought the print version.

Read the fine print
First let me state that overall I liked this magazine (first purchase of this title). The recipes were easy to follow. I’ve purchased a number of electronic versions of books and magazines. However, this is the first one where I’ve had to choose between seeing the recipe or seeing the picture of the recipe item. What I mean is that if you are viewing the recipe with the picture, the print is very fine. It makes it less easy to glance at the recipe while making it. Having said that, I still liked the content enough that I’ll try hard copy next time.

Bake up something new
I love it when Bake comes to my mailbox. I like the photos and recipes. Most of the recipes require several different components. You may make a cake, a filling and an icing. There are also some savory recipes sometimes too not just sweets. The only thing is sometimes the recipes require an ingredient that you need to order online or find a substitution you like. I guess they put a recipe or two in the magazine that promotes one of their advertisers products. Not every recipe calls for obscure or hard to find ingredients though. They also have a section that highlights kitchen essentials. Beware this will make you want to purchase new things from pans to cookbooks. You have been warned.

I Love The Bake From Scratch Magazine But...
I love the mag and have been buy it since it first came out from the stores and newsstands. But the Kindle version is actually a .PDF version more than a Kindle based version and does not have the usual Kindle book features! It's just images that you can resize and pages are shown 2 pages connected together at a time as one page rather than showing the image of the dish and then pages with the resizable text, etc.It is a poorly done Kindle version and either should be updated immediately or deleted from Kindle. I'll stick to the paper editions...

Love magazine, recipes but price needs to be more reasonable
Love this magazine! Recipes are wonderful too but can’t justify the price of this for kindle version or even in real form. Love it more if it was more reasonable

Best baking magazine period
I love this magazine so much that I gifted my daughter a hard copy. I receive the digital version. If you love to bake, you are going to love this magazine. It opens up the whole world of baking to include their website. They provide a lot of information about the theme for that quarter. It is great background information for those of us who love to back but like to know how and when the recipe was first baked. It makes baking the dishes a little more special. And each quarterly magazine is packed with recipes. I can't possibly bake all the ones I want to.
