M&D Ab Lipo Foam Abdominal Board Post Surgery for Liposuction | Tabla Abdominal para Recovery Tummy Tuck

I had upper/lower ab lipo, no skin excision, and the surgeon told me to wear a board instead of foam for best recovery results and she loved this one. This one works for me, but with skin excision, the board would sit on the excision site and that would be bad. I'm 5'4", 130 lbs. and 30" waistline while swollen. Board is 9.5 inches high and 13 inches wide. I was tempted to take off one star due to the one size fits all, but I have a normal-to-short torso, and the height covers my upper and lower abs and doesn't get uncomfortable or cram into my bra line or hip bones when I'm sitting up straight (it forces good posture). Someone with a long torso might find it too short. I wear the board with the wide part at the top, and the narrower part at the bottom. Day 2 after surgery, my compression garment was uncomfortably tight, and I was on the computer and wasn't sitting up straight, so the board dug in, between my hip bones, and left huge, painful divots in my skin after sitting for a long period of time. That night I used foam and not the board, as well as for the next two days, to allow it to smooth out. This is day 5, compression isn't as tight, I'm sitting up straight, and it's much better! My pics are an attempt to show how the board hits at the top, bottom, and hips, even though it's hard to see under a black compression garment. It seems like it will have high durability, easy to use, great value, and just the right bulkiness for support.

Great product but little big for my stomach

I'm 5'2 with a short torso and right now, with swelling, I'm 34"- 32"-43", yes big hips, I know... I just had lipo in several areas, about a month ago, including my upper and lower abdomen. My lymphatic masseuse suggested I try one of these to help flatten out some minor uneven areas and so far it works great. No it doesnt cover my whole stomach, but if it did, it wouldn't be one size fits all. It covers most of my stomach and all the areas I need. All of these people complaining about not being able to bend, the board being too stiff, etc.I don't think understand the concept. The whole idea is to help keep your stomach smooth and flat as you heal. Of course it's going to prevent you, somewhat, from moving in ways that will crease and bend you... common sense. I think it works exactly as it's intended to and I don't find it uncomfortable at all. I've definitely seen a difference in swelling and am flatter. You do need to wear a properly fitting compression garment (very snug) with it to get desired effect. I also have bought and use the lumbar mould for my lower back. It's great! For those of you that don't like the stiffness and immobility, get some lipo foam. It doesnt work as well for flattening but it helps minimize creasing when you do bend or sit and it doesn't hurt a sensitive tummy. I highly recommend it.

I reside in London, UK and had travelled to Atlanta for a full tummy tuck and breast reduction to be performed by Dr Wright Jones of the show "Atlanta Plastic'. Following my amazing and extremely successful surgery I purchased the Tabla Abdominal Liposuction Board on a bit of a 'whim' as it looked by its description that it would assist me on my long haul flight back to London last night. I showed my Tabla Board to Dr Jones to ensure that he was happy for me to use it to protect myself from the seatbelt pressure and his exact words were 'I love it!' - I must stress that Dr Jones 'endorsement' was a personal view that he simply expressed as he is such a professional that his overriding and only concern is and will forever be for my continue good health and recovery. I therefore hope that I will not 'offend' the good doctor by my reference to him in this review. The TSA officers at Atlanta International were initially concerned with my wearing the board through the security, but after discussion and swab testing I was allowed to continue to my departure gate. - I must stress that the TSA took an exceptional decision and if you chose to travel with the Tabla board you should perhaps keep it in your hand luggage and the apply once on your flight. I am a genuine and long-standing Amazon.co.uk customer in the UK, whom whilst in the US was so incredibly pleased to utilise shopping on Amazon.com which included having deliveries by Amazon Fresh directly to my hotel, the fantastic Grand Hyatt, Buckhead whom treated me as family throughout my 2 week stay as I know no one in the US. Having my 'special foods' delivered by Amazon Fresh and the wonderful Front Desk staff at the Hyatt then bringing it directly to my room, literally made my recovery a life saver.....so much so that I fly out from the UK in 2 weeks times to see Dr Jones again and will once again be going 'home' to the Grand Hyatt Buckhead for that trip too I truly hope this review helps......Best wishes to all future purchasers and readers

The board arrived and looks and operates just as described. I find it comfortable to wear and can wear it all day long. It stays in place centered, but sometimes rides up with I sit down and the top of my thighs push it up, but it isn't uncomfortable and I just adjust it as needed. All in all, it was a great buy and I could see the difference in my liposuction areas that needed to be flattened out immediately.

This type of Board works for me , it keeps my stomach toned once I stop wearing it my daughter she started wearing it and wouldn’t even give it back so I had to order another one and I received it fast. I have it on now easy to put on. It goes good with my workout clothing and undergarment.( and your question is why did I stop wearing it because I was tone up, my stomach was shaped how I wanted it to be,now I started back exercising and I’m gonna keep it toned up and try to stay faithful to what works for me).

I'm 5'4 and my torso isn't big, I would say average but unfortunately the top scratched the skin off the bottom portion of my breast. Had it been an inch shorter it would've worked for me. I think they should make different sizes because unfortunately this is not one size fits all. I wasted my money and it's too big for me, but its great if it fits you. I actually loved it but cant use it.

I wore this for the first time today and thought it was nice and supportive after my mommy makeover. I wondered if I wear wearing it wrong and it turns out, I was! The rounded part is supposed to go on the top and the flat side on the bottom. However, I find that wearing the flat side at the top and the rounded side on the bottom provides compression to my mons area which is nice. I also have a short torso and found it to be a bit long for my short torso. I still like it and it holds me in nicely.
