Good value
Seems to be a quality clamp. Wish it came with some sort of instructions.

Save your money and time.
There's really no texture inside the clamp so it requires cleaning often. For 50 bucks it's way overpriced. I got a better clamp from stringers world for half the price and performs way better than any starting clamp out there. The only good thing about this one is the textured handle. Overall, will never buy it again.

Pricey but solid tool.
Would give it five stars, but it's a bit pricey for a little metal clamp.

Broke after two years
Bolt just slides out after two years of use….Pretty nice clamp at a decent price. Purchased the clamp about 2 years ago and have strung close to 50 rackets.Unfortunately the clamp fell apart recently. This is because the bolt that holds the two handles together broke off. Annoying but I was able to put it back together but have to be really conscious of how I use it otherwise the bolt will slide off causing the clamp to disassemble.

WEAK GRIP
This clamp does not clamp. String slips every single time. RETURNED.

Works better than I expected considering it is not a diamond dusted clamp. No slippage even on poly.
This starting clamp works better than I expected. I was worried, since it does not have diamond dusted jaws like a much more expensive Babolat starting clamp, that it might slip on poly strings. It does not slip. The key to using this clamp on strings where you are worried about slippage is to place the string as close to the inside of the jaws as possible, where you will get the best clamping force. For more delicate strings that might get crushed by this much force (test a piece first before you start stringing), you might place the string further from the pivot point.
