Headache HatGO (one size) - Headache and Migraine Ice Hat Cap Cooling Relief Wrap, two removable replacement ice mats, for Tension, Pain

Love it! I’ve tried the gamut of highly rated migraine hats. This one optimized my priorities:- lightweight- provides cold for 30 minutes where I need it- fits well because of the flexibility of the 5 inch Velcro closure- super easy to store and re-freezes quickly- easy to wash (cold water, delicate) and tumble dry low- unlike some other reviews, the 4 I own have not yet leaked (2 are about 3 years old) My migraines are accompanied and pretty much superseded by hyperhydrosis (overheating and sweating like crazy) in my cerebellum area, all around my neck, and my temples. My family says that it’s like a sheet of sweat suddenly pours from my neck and the nape of my neck. My instant thermometer readings of my cerebellum area average101F during an episode. My normal temperature is lower than most at 96.7F. This Headache Hat has been my lifesaver, bringing me back from misery to feeling near normal. My only wish is that it came in different colors besides pink.

This is (in my opinion) a must-have for migraineurs. I can strap it on (I usually put the velcro in the front with the ice on my neck, like a headband) and watch tv to distract myself while I try to feel better, or strap it on and go to sleep/lay down. My favorite feature is that it's hands-free so that I don't have to scrunch up to hold a traditional ice pack on my head, or lay down and also hold it on my head--because I want it on that one place on my temple, and the ice always falls off. Or I want it on that on a place behind my ear, and I can't get the traditional ice pack there without holding it there and tensing up the muscles in my neck or laying on the traditional ice pack, which doesn't work. BUT! With the headache hat, the ice stays in place! It hits all the places at once! It goes behind my ears! it goes on my temple! It goes on my neck at the base of my skull! And I don't have to hold it in place! I don't have to scrunch up or tense any other muscles in the meantime! I love this thing man! And the fact that the headache hat go is pink--high visibility--is wonderful. Easy to find when I'm feeling better and not in that weird funky mood.Example of wonderfulness:I took meds last night before going to sleep and it didn't quite do the job. I woke up in the middle of the night, still feeling crappy. I got up, took some more meds, strapped this on, and went back to sleep. Yes, you can sleep with it. (It feels a little weird, because you're sleeping on ice cubes, but the comfort of the ice felt so dang good).Only con: They take a WHILE to freeze in the freezer, BUT... it comes with an extra pack of ice! So once it freezes, you should be ok :) I ordered two because I knew it took a while to freeze, and I want to be able to use them back to back, and I always forget to put them back in the freezer when I'm done--brain fog. Now I have a Headache Halo (previous buy) and 2 Headache Hat Go's with extra ice! That's 5 uses!!! I'm so prepared... Which allows me to relax a little. I know I'll have ice when the next attack hits.

I use this often as I get horrible migraines from having brain tumors/ surgeries. I’ve had a few different ’ice hats’ so I think I can give somewhat quality feedback.What I likeDefinitely the material. It’s very smooth and seams to hold in temperature. If I leave the ice on long enough to melt to room temperature the fabric is still cool to the touch.I like that it comes with an extra ice insert to swap out when the ice is no longer cold enough.I like that because it’s a Velcro headband style, I can adjust how snug the ice is to my head.What I don’t likeI have had this for only a month and already one of the ice cube squares seams to have popped.I don’t like how the ice doesn’t completely surround my head like the band does, I find myself rotating the ice and then the band to get the back of my head cold as well. ( one could also argue that having the ice all around would be too uncomfortable to lay down with)I also think it needs one more row of ice (this does the job, but I could use more ice coverage for the surgery spots). Since this one just broke, I need a replacement. I ordered the model with that extra row of cubes.. I’m not sure if that was the best idea as this one didn’t last long. I’m hoping it was just faulty?I will update this post/rating if this company makes things right by replacing the broken Ice pack.Edit: I contacted the company via an email address I found online. They sent out 2 new sleeves of ice with no questions asked.Unfortunately those also did not last long.I have been using the other model, I now have 3 of them. They have proven to be more durable and have the ability to change out individual ice cubes should any pop. I have not looked further since finding them. Get those!

This product is an absolute must for migraine sufferers.The ability to swap out ice packs for continuous coverage was non-negotiable for me when looking for a headache hat.I flip the sides over when one side starts to get warm and that makes it last much longer. I got the pink, and the black side material seems a bit thicker than the pink, so if you're like me and need the ice cold on your head, flip to the thinner pink for maximum cold.And it stretches great, just watch your hair!

After buying another version of this, I wanted to get a "smaller" one for my office. It comes with an extra pack of ice insert, which is great. I just love how this works and helps cool my head whenever I have a migraine attack. The only issue I had was that one of the cubes was leaking when I got it. I didn't return it because it came with an extra one. I just still would have loved one that didn't leak.

This product is such a lifesaver! I get migraines all the time and this product was everything I could ask for. It comes with two ice packs which most do not. The material used to put the ice packs in is super soft, excellent quality and I got the pink one in a very pretty colour. The ice packs last about an hour and you can rotate them from the freezer. It takes a while for them to refreeze fully but I still get relief. It’s a headband so it allows you to control the tension which is needed when you have migraines. I have recommended this product to a few friends who suffer as well but it is not showing in stock. I hope it comes back as it could help so many others as well. Thank you for making this product!!!!

This is a great tool for migraine relief - would definitely recommend. I do find it too cold when I first pull the ice pack out of the freezer, but once It has had the change to warm up a little bit it’s very comfortable and soothing. The headband can be used on its own for head compression, which also helps me with my headaches.

I had a work related accident, as a result I suffered from a concussion, and I had a 24/7 headaches, and this product saved me a lot of pain, plus, I could move around whiteout being afraid of loosing my ice pack!

Works great for headaches or knee pain.Comes with two ice packs, very easy to use .Comfortable to wear.
