Pioneer MXT- S3166BT Digital Media Receiver + (4) 6.5" 2 Way Speaker Bundle with Pandora Premium Trial

I upgraded from a few year old pioneer media player in my jeep to this and I'm blown away. I didn't use the speakers that came with it, as I already had better speakers, it for 10 dollars more it's nice to have a an extra set. The sound quality from this unit and the power dwarfs the old unit. This also has individual speak level. Control. I can hear the front speakers in my jeep tj for the first time ever. It just blew me away with the power and sound quality difference. I will use this unit again if needed!

Good price for a quality product, sounds good, easy to install,love using the bluetooth to connect to my phone.

App is near useless, speakers are throwaway, but the media player is a great value for the price. I would recommend your avoid the app and just use regular Bluetooth for calls and audio. The speakers included are ok but you can definitely tell they're not much better than stock, if not poorer quality. If you go into this purchase knowing you are buying the head unit you'll be happy, and you can buy speakers elsewhere...I am very happy with the stereo and it's features.Update: Head unit is still kicking away sounding great; since installing I've used the unit with my phone running Android Auto - I highly recommend this over using the Pioneer app, the only thing you can't do with Android Auto is set the EQ levels, but it's more stable and functional than the Pioneer app. Just thought I'd pass it on.

Install was a breeze even though it wasn't my first time doing a stereo but they make the directions super clear and easy for first timers

Bought this set for the deck only which is a very good stereo. Installation was easy and pretty straight forward. Now tuning the deck on the other hand was alittle complicated and took some time to get just right with our kenwood speakers. Bluetooth connects with no issue and once properly tuned it has amazing sound. Now the pioneer app that it utilizes is well meh.

Great unit for the price. Was just looking to have Bluetooth and it does the job. Speakers are ok, just a bonus

Installed in ‘96 Jeep ZJ. Head unit is nice, speakers are better than stock and sound okay.

Price was pretty good , I thought! Until we hooked everything up and this product is absolute garbage !! I got it for my sons birthday and he was happy to get it until he started using it. Sound quality is terrible , navigating to each setting is difficult. He ended up taking the speakers back out of his truck and he may have tossed those in the garbage and I gave him some old pioneer 6.5s that I bought probably 12 years ago and they sound so much better . I’ve always stood behind pioneer products (car audio) but I couldn’t believe this product. It should be scrapped!
