The masterpiece line is my go to selection in this price point. I really enjoy the ribbon page marker and gilding on the page edges. Hard to find a better value currently.

It was a birthday gift. She really liked it

First, I bought both of my books for their green binding to go with my decor and I love both of the stories. However, when I got them today, I was also pleasantly surprised to see the gold on the pages and trim around the entire binding! Both books are Masterpiece Library Editions, making them look outstanding on my book shelf. These books, along with Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass are all bound in Green, they have also been my favorites growing up. Hopefully, when I finish with my collection, it will be something my sons may appreciate when I am no longer here. To leave a piece of myself. Seeing all of my new books both bound in the green and held together by some beautiful book ends has been a wonderful gift that I both have given to myself and also given to me by my husband.

This book is truly stunning. It has a satisfying weight to it, slightly heavy, thanks to its gilded edges, but I actually love that. It gives it that timeless, almost encyclopedic presence that feels just right for a classic. The pages are beautifully thick, and the tone of the print, along with the font size, makes it a pleasure to read. Easy on the eyes and thoughtfully designed. The deep emerald green cover is absolutely gorgeous, and the linen-covered binding adds such an elegant, refined touch. Altogether, it feels like a book meant to be treasured, not just read.

Peter Pauper Press exceeded my expectations! Excellent quality and beautiful binding. I have declining eyesight and this book had thick paper with easy to read print. I love these books!

Beautiful books. Really happy with the quality of the covers and paper

This book was published in 1813 and it certainly does not read like an 1813 novel. Jane Austin must be remembered as one of the first feminist! She write of Elizabeth Bennett, the second of five sisters. And she does not see any reason to marry (shocking for that time). She attends a ball and is introduced to Mr Darcy whom she feels is stuffy and entirely to into himself. She makes snap judgments about and his prideful ways and therefore has a certain prejudice toward him. Not really a spoiler but she does cave or should I say falls in love with Mr Darcy. Great story and there were numerous times that I laughed out loud. That being said the conversations were difficult to read because no one that I know uses the phrases or dialect, but that certainly did not impede my interest in the story. Recommended for sure.

This is such a beautiful edition of Pride and Prejudice…the gold details on the cover and on the pages are just stunning and the quality of the book is very nice…I love that it came wrapped in plastic to keep it safe…the book came in great condition pages are nice and thick as well I also bought the purple version because I couldn’t choose between which one I wanted lol but they are both beautiful editions and I’m very happy!

Llego antes de la fecha programada bien empacado sin ningún daño, el trabajo de la cubierta es muy bueno es de lino, con la oferta del 10% si compras 2 libros es una ganga (pasta dura, grande) yo adquirí eses y jane eyre de la misma editorial, nunca he entendido x que la gente usa libros (que no ha leido que no saben de q se tratan) como decoración, habiendo tantos libros maravillosos como estos en pasta dura, estos libros sustituirán a mis versiones viejitas y usadas, el libro en sí es fantástico y leerlo en el idioma original es genial, altamente recomendable

Was ist das bitte für eine schöne Ausgabe? Ich wollte unbedingt eine englische Ausgabe und diese ist einfach wunderschön und hat sogar einen goldenen Farbschnitt. Tolle Verarbeitung. Ich bin begeistert

J'ai acheté ce livre il y a quelques semaine, je suis très satisfaite de ce roman! La couverture est rose avec des détails doré ! Je n'ai pas encore eu le temps de le lire mais les pages sont très fine se qui est un peu décevant, ce livre aurait pu être parfait.

If you are looking for an edition on the fancy side with larger, easy to read print at a good price point this is a good option for you. Beautiful design, high quality paper, readable print size and nicely done gilded edges. The only quibble I have is the opening page is right next to the publishing info (as shown in photo) if they had they added one extra blank page, it would have looked nicer. This is a very small complaint though. Be aware this book is quite large and very heavy !!
