Pathfinder's take on alien invaders
Not only does this add an exciting new adventure to the Iron Gods adventure path, it allows players to fight against a number of otherworldly creatures. That's right; in this part of the AP you get to fight aliens. And not just any aliens, aliens of the Dominion of the Black! Now I haven't read the last two parts of the AP, but I believe this is the "Alien chapter" whereas part 5 is Technic League and part 6 is super-robots. It's a good way to incorporate other-worldly invaders into your campaign without having to leave Golarion.For those looking forward to Starfinder, or just want to inject more alien encounters into their home campaign this book may be worth picking up as it gives a detailed background of the mysterious Dominion of the Black, a truly dangerous collective of foreign entities using equally bizarre technology to further their goals.The only drawback of the part of the AP is that it does little to further the metaplot, and overall feels more like an elaborate side-quest that nevertheless does a great job of expanding the setting and offering new flavours of challenges for players.Obviously a must-have for anyone running the Iron Gods Adventure Path
