My foundation brush took a while, but that was mainly because I hadn't cleaned it in forever. The only complaint is the power is a bit weak. If you have a big heavy powder brush, getting it to spin effectively with battery power isn't going to work (the product does warn you about this). If you plug it in, it goes better, but still.
